Roman Wilson Has Committed To Michigan

Wilson burst onto the scene when he attended an Opening Regional and lit up the testing with a 4.37 40, a sub-4 shuttle, and a 39-inch vertical at a six-foot-even. He was the Alpha Dog per 247:
Roman Wilson - Hard to argue that anyone else had a more productive showing than the St. Louis (Honolulu, HI) receiver. Ears perked with great interest as word was going round that he ran a laser-timed 4.37 forty yard dash, and then he finished the camp with the top Nike SPARQ score of 124.59. His athleticism carried over into drill work and 1-on-1's, as he was simply too explosive for the competition.
He's also the Hawaii state champ in the 100 meter dash with a 10.6.
In the aftermath of the camp bust-outmost of the Pac-12 offered, along with Nebraska and Wisconsin. Family ties to Michigan won out over the prospect of a shorter flight and Michigan has its first outside WR prospect in the 2020 class.
Way to GoBlue! Roman!
That SPARQ score puts him in the around top 20% of NFL receivers. If he's actually 6' even, this is a huge get and I expect him to move up a lot.
Nobody can say Gattis isn’t getting the tools.
People were actually worried that recruiting would slip due to the Pep to Gattis transition. Gattis is worlds better than Pep.
I'm not sure who said that as Pep was non-existent on the recruiting trail.
Probably the relatively large subset of "fans" who are never happy and bitch constantly.
Gattis isn't getting the tools.
I'm looking forward to the full Aloha post!
When is MgoBlog gonna start selling that sweet headgear Roman is wearing?
Definitely not in the last hour and 20 minutes.
Great pickup. Go blue!
(Just posting this because I’m currently stuck on 666 mgopoints)
That's one way to REGULATE your point total. Points up, hoes down.
I'm negging this and a few of your old posts to get you back down to 666. Because that's how I roll.
Whew--took longer than I thought it would but...success.
I didn't realize Michigan was recruiting internationally.
/s
This is very exciting, in part because of his talent and in part because of the numerous puns I've already read and will continue to see about his name,

Welcome Wilson!
What a pickup at a position of need for 2020. Won't surprise me if he's a very early contributor.
He's got some speed for sure
Maybe it's just me, but does Roman bear some resemblance to Sparty? Take a look at his picture in the 247 profile and compare that to Sparty's mug. Sparty, the statue in East Perineum. Not Sparty the mascot.
Wait till Rice's kid to commit and all the sparties will be here posting. They should be watching their own recruiting FAIL.
Love to see Roman's first snowball fight - South Quad vs. West Quad. Hawaiian style !
Go Blue !!!
Make it a shave ice fight!
I like taking 6 foot tall speedsters. If they can’t catch, you can convert them to cornerbacks.
This has me so excited, you don't have to be 6'4" if you are this fast. We are adding so much speed we should be damn hard to defend.
