"It's a lot easier being a drug dealer than an AAU coach" - this guy. Tell me something I don't know. I mean, don't think but have never tried either.

26 days until a Central Michigan safety discovers exactly what a "pyrrhic victory in run support" means. Presumably, BiSB will regret not using spellcheck much sooner than that.
[EDIT: As pointed out in the comments, the poor soul being steamrolled is not some random high school freshman, but 2013 3.5-star Virginia signee Malcolm Cook. Cook is listed at 6'1" (measurement presumably taken before the above) and 194 pounds. Lawd.]
FOR MOTHER RUSSIA!
[runs into machinegun fire]
That was me vs Dowagiac's Jamie Simpson in 2007..... all game long. Never had so many tackles in a win yet felt utterly defeated the next day. Ouch.
I had a comparable tackle against Kevin Grady in high school, which I was pretty psyched about because open field tackles against that team were few and far between. Worst part is I was a senior and he was a freshman and he still trucked me (he was already big as a frosh).
I remember watching that game on ESPNU (the safety plays for Christian Hackenberg's team) and they had a few angles of it...just a devastating hit. Felt bad for the kid, its a true "man vs boy" moment
Sorry but who was the one making the tackle again?
He didn't shy away
but he really wasn't ready for the tackle either. Didn't squre his shoulders, didn't drive with the legs...now, that could all be because Green was there before he was ready, and since he is a 4* as was mentioned...I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. But he led with a weak attempt at a shoulder tackle. Not gonna bring a big guy like that down by going after the upper body. No siree....
...but his "I just got trucked-I'm Batman" concussion form is flawless.
He does look like he runs up hard and then "Oh shit! " stops when he sees Green barreling towards him.
This was actually a 4*-Safety in Malcolm Cook too. Makes it even more impressive.
Bet his coach, the next day in film review, made him an example of how it is ill-advised to try and tackle with your ear hole.
Can we play Derrick at strong safety? Or is that, like givin' him to Mongo, just too cruel?
Took me a second to figure out what OFAAT was. I started thinking it was a our new recruiting motto, One Freak At A Time.
was just trying to get the charge call.
but his feet weren't set.
Its going to be fun watching him eating safeties for a few years.
the player just left of number 49 in white is doing his best tumbleweed impression...
Was this game against Fork Union Military Academy? They are usually a solid program.
He's actually a 3-4 star committed to UVA.
because of having to wear those ugly uniforms. Wouldn't want him to lose that edge once he puts on the finest uniform in the land.
I'd like to see how those two dudes end up on the ground in the beginning of the clip. Are they just tackles gone wrong or did they get blown up by Green?
That is why you don't call a bubble screen.
The kid still made the tackle. Now, if Mr. Green would have kept on going I would feel bad for the safety.
Placing a car in front of a train will eventually result in the train stopping. That doesn't mean the car comes out any better in the exchange.
The future looks good..
