Only person I can think of coming in early would be Greg Brown...
February 9th, 2011 at 8:59 PM ^
Me too but why speculate about something so vague?
February 9th, 2011 at 9:01 PM ^
I've heard his fb said he was going back to OH and then shut the account down but who knows for sure.

February 9th, 2011 at 9:03 PM ^
Heard? From whom?
February 9th, 2011 at 9:08 PM ^
I would remove my comment since I didn't want to post without anything firm, so I apologize. However I can't seem to edit or delete my comment.
February 9th, 2011 at 9:10 PM ^
That's because I commented on it. Sorry man. It's up there for posterity.
February 9th, 2011 at 9:15 PM ^
Why you gotta waste my flava?
Damn..
February 9th, 2011 at 9:06 PM ^
why he would want to leave. I mean yeah he is probably homesick but if you have a feeling you may get homesick you should probably stay in high school for another semester instead of enrolling early. I hope if it is Greg Brown that he changes his mind and decides to stay
February 9th, 2011 at 9:08 PM ^
is less than an hour away from Ann Arbor....
February 9th, 2011 at 9:15 PM ^
some kids that go to college early instead of finishing high school may have a lot of regrets of not being with their friends and living up high school before going into college.
February 9th, 2011 at 9:48 PM ^
It's a little further than an hour. It took me close to an hour to get to school when I lived in Erie (right on the border right off 75 - you could see my parents' house from 75 as you were driving past the Welcome signs) and it takes a closer to an hour than a half hour to get to fremont from there.
However. It's not like it's the other side of the country either. A visit home and back should be easily possible on a weekend.
February 9th, 2011 at 9:07 PM ^
was just written about him 4 days ago, that would be really strange.
February 9th, 2011 at 9:45 PM ^
Tate said "All you have to do to pass is show up" in an article a few days before he got sent packing from the bowl game for grades.
February 10th, 2011 at 12:06 AM ^
he decided not to show up?
February 9th, 2011 at 10:57 PM ^
i certainly hope not
February 9th, 2011 at 8:58 PM ^
What possible good can come from this thread?
February 9th, 2011 at 9:30 PM ^
People should be banned for starting a thread by speculating what someone says on their twitter.
Mods should delete this thread.
That is all.
February 9th, 2011 at 9:55 PM ^
I don't see a problem with posting this. This is a site where we talk about Michigan sports. It was posted by Koger. Why is discussing and speculating what a player on the team says a negative thing? If its so negative that we can't discuss it should this change how I feel about Koger? It does not for me btw.
February 9th, 2011 at 10:36 PM ^
"I don't see a problem with posting this. This is a site where we talk about Michigan sports."
How do you know it's about something Michigan sports-related? You say there's nothing wrong with it because this is a Michigan sports site; well how exactly does the tweet have anything to do with the football team/program, aside from it being part of an entirely as so far unsubstantiated rumour?
February 9th, 2011 at 11:28 PM ^
Agreed. If you're interested in kids' twitter pages, you're beyond help though. If you play with kids in fire, you're playing with kids in fire.
February 10th, 2011 at 8:49 AM ^
I would say that this site has featured many posts leading up to Signing Day that came directly from kids' twitter pages. I will go 1 step further and say that I would say that some of the mods as well as TomVH have posted based on the kids' twitter pages.
February 10th, 2011 at 12:54 PM ^
in paying attention to a college FB player's twitter and the tweets from a pro FB player? Or an actor or musician?
February 9th, 2011 at 9:00 PM ^
Oh yeah Koger? What's black & white and read all over?
good luck with one, it took me hours to figure that out.

ha, maybe i should retake english.
February 10th, 2011 at 12:18 PM ^
No worries. I usually try to exercise a fair amount of restraint, but that one was too fun to pass up.
February 9th, 2011 at 9:52 PM ^
am defiant that I know what it means.
Wait. Nobody's arguing with me. I guess I don't have anything to be defiant about.
February 9th, 2011 at 9:55 PM ^
Because a lack of defiancy indicates... NEUTRALNESS! What causes a man to turn neutral? Is it some force, or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality?
February 10th, 2011 at 12:14 AM ^
My national constitution states I have to attach my name to this discussion.
Done.

Does Kevin Koger have a problem with thermoregulation? Should he see a doctor? Is everything going to be OK?

February 9th, 2011 at 9:22 PM ^
i think webb going to the NFL.?? .i don't think it has anything to do with greg brown
February 9th, 2011 at 9:39 PM ^
Webb is a senior, homeboy.
February 9th, 2011 at 10:25 PM ^
so does that mean he can't be going to the NFL?
cause he keeping saying on twitter that hes preparing for the combine in march.
February 9th, 2011 at 9:23 PM ^
It would be very difficult being THE ONLY early enrollee at a school. No one to really relate too. Has that ever happened at U of M before? with only 1 early enrollee? He just needs to stick it out. First few weeks of february are the toughest weeks of the year....
February 10th, 2011 at 7:45 AM ^
I'm not going to speculate on the contents of the tweet, but I will comment on being the only early enrolee. I have to imagine that's pretty tough. New to a city, new to a football program that is much more intense than your high-school program, new to university life, classes and complete freedom. That's a lot to throw on a young man's shoulders.
February 10th, 2011 at 11:42 AM ^
except for the football part, every freshmen has to deal with what you stated. in fact, it may be easier for an early enrollee because he already has a "family" - the football team and the coaches.
February 9th, 2011 at 9:29 PM ^
PANIC, mode for some.
LET THE MHSG, not strike us down.
February 9th, 2011 at 9:53 PM ^
This kind of thing is going to get you put back in your cell, Fu Man. You're reminding me of Pacino in Carlito's Way, getting caught up with old connections, slowly getting back into the game. Don't do it, man. Live on the straight and narrow for awhile.
February 9th, 2011 at 10:20 PM ^
Agreed. Not cool. Fail.
