OT: Weather -- Any free way to instantly post a streaming web cam?
I've got a big, bay window in the front of my apartment and there is a streetlight right across the street, so I'm getting great views of Snowpocalypse/Snowmageddon in Chicago.
Any way I could put up a stream from my web cam without paying or doing too much work?

Would a picture do it any justice? Sounds like a nice view.

That has to be the coolest, most poetic description of "snow is flying all over the place" that I've ever heard. And I mean that purely as a compliment.

We got 14 inches of snow here in Tulsa. The city is basically closed and snow drifts are over 5 feet. I hear Chicago is going to get it worse than us.

Pretty sure www.ustream.tv is free.

I don't remember a storm like this, with the wind speeds like this. This is ominous looking stuff. Whether your job is or isn't weather affected, it won't matter tomorrow. Most of us not living right next door to our work will be home. As a result, this will be the most followed National Signing Day to date.

And it looked like Hoth out there. And not a Tauntaun in sight to curl up in if something goes wrong. The way Ann Arbor clears stuff, I may not be able to get my car through my street till April.

This storm is a thing of beauty. Although, I think some of the original totals in the Ann Arbor area might have been overestimated a tad due to the dry slot working its way in. Still should see some decent totals though.

Do it. I was looking for webcams earlier since I'm not anywhere near the storm.

I live just off Lake Shore Drive in Chicago and can barely see outside my window. Snow is going horizontal and my windows are shaking. This storm is great! Snow day tomorrow.

Too bad it let up. School tomorrow, here I come!

As cool as this storm already is, I want lightning. I've never witnessed lightning during a snow storm before and I think it would look awesome having lightning flashes lighting up the sky as a tremendous amount of snow is falling.

We had lightning with a snowstorm in Baltimore last week. The lightning wasn't really that impressive with 3" of snow falling per hour. The thunder was pretty ominous though, having an strange muffled quality to it.

Ann Arbor hilariously got next to no snow. Weathermen have no credibility whatsoever here.

Disagrees.
