Tate still at Michigan?
I know this is one of many Tate posts now but I no longer see Tate's name on the student directory for Michigan. Hopefully, this was not asked already as I did not read through the 240+ comments on the previous Tate post. Any rumors on him no longer being at Michigan?

In a way my heart goes out to Tate......going from starter to backup to media saying he is not a team player now to possibly being off team!! Pressure had to be killing him!!

The university offices are closed over break, so it's hard to imagine a scenario where Tate decides on the plane home he's had enough of us, alerts the university about his withdrawal and gets it formally processed within a moment or two.
It may be technically possible, but what's the motivation for breaking into the directory remotely to remove a student's name - it's not exactly an emergency if he continues to appear in the directory.

A friend of mine and I were bored earlier this year right when school was starting up so we were looking through the directory then and he still wasn't in there...

Isn't eligibility based on a min grade for all classes or overall GPA, rather than total credits earned (only)?

it means nothing. Not all students are listed and "famous" ones often times ask to be hidden. Remember, anyone can access the UM directory to look students up.

A week or two ago, I did a routine check for early enrollees. On a whim, I looked for Tate. He wasn't there then, either. This is not breaking news.

I think it brings up a valid discussion of whether Tate will be here next year which is at least as important as the three threads about who will backup Denard in the bowl.

We've solved the case with only hours to spare! Harbaugh is coming in as the head coach, RR as the offensive coordinator. Wow, that was like a great Hardy Boys case, went right down to the wire.
