please watch the 2003 OSU Game and tell me if he has stone hands. In the NFL, maybe. Against OSU, blasphemy.
Edit: not to say Roy isn't a great receiver. He has played well in big games, just not today. Also, he does the best Donald Duck impression east of the Mississippi. Pretty sure Donald Duck in Disneyland beats him to the west.

Did you see that drop?
November 27th, 2010 at 1:25 PM ^
You should be quiet and support your team during the game.

John Cooper, just not as successful

Who never had FIVE drops in a game, especially a huge game.
November 27th, 2010 at 3:41 PM ^
first off how is this a reply to me...
secondly he's a freaking sophomore who missed almost all of last year, give the guy a freaking break... I seem to recall Odoms having trouble with dropped balls his first year, but he's a lot better now
November 28th, 2010 at 5:57 PM ^
But to the notion that Roundtree = Edwards because he dropped some passes. I love Roy, but he is not the receiver Braylon was

He's already lost the #1 jersey for next year in the first 20 minutes of this game

Hi Chris Martin!
November 27th, 2010 at 1:34 PM ^
....Roundtree isn't getting the #1 Jersey. I like the kid and he's been clutch but the clutch seems to be worn out today. This team has a curse on it and someone needs to get some A2 witches to remove it. It's just getting embarassing.
November 27th, 2010 at 1:37 PM ^
A2 witches? By that are you referring to Jim Harbaugh? It's not a curse it's called Rich Rodriguez.
November 27th, 2010 at 1:43 PM ^
You really are stuck on stupid. Harbaugh isn't a savior of any type.Look at his record while keeping a pro-style offense and not switching the entire scheme. It is not a lot better then RR who has had to change everything. You need to think independently from what the mainstream media feeds you. When will you children get this concept? Thank you for a laugh though.
November 27th, 2010 at 1:50 PM ^
RR had to change everything? Really? Michigan was 11-2 and 9-4 the 2 seasons prior to him coming. We had great recruiting classes the 4 years prior (all top 15). Rich Rod came in and decided to rebuild when he could have remodeled. Easing into the spread would have been fine, but he came and turned Michigan into a rebuilding project when we didn't need to be rebuilt.
But hey go ahead and keep plagiarizing what you read in one of Brian's posts, it really makes you sound more intelligent and a better football fan. Did you ever think that maybe the rest of the entire country is right and a majority of Michigan fans like you are just refusing to accept that Rich Rodriguez is not the right guy?
November 27th, 2010 at 2:02 PM ^
and have you taken the time to notice how many of them have been college busts? Thanks for the laugh, if recruiting rankings is all you have to throw at me. If ignorance is bliss, then you must be having the time of your life.

Mmm that's right it's not the coach's responsibility to develop talent... Brilliant!

You obviously never read decimated defense

Rich Rod obviously catches passes. Shut up and go back to East Lansing you worthless garbage.
November 27th, 2010 at 1:39 PM ^
He does....except he drops many more and isn't nearly as good. But other wise, yes, he plays the same position.
November 27th, 2010 at 1:43 PM ^
thinking the same thing..catch the damn ball Roy..wtf
November 27th, 2010 at 1:49 PM ^
Yes I was saying this a couple weeks ago that Hemmingway and Stonum are more clutch than Roy is. Again it's easy to catch when Denard does that little fake like he's going to run the ball and then throws it to a wide open Roundtree. It's the tough catches in traffic and what you do after the catch that gets you the #1 jersey.
November 27th, 2010 at 1:50 PM ^
don't know what's up with Roy. He's still awesome. quit freaking out on the kid. he's got typical michigan wideout syndrome: awesome at times, totally unreliable at times. it is impossible to know when which phase will hit. literally every receiver michigan has had has these phases.
that said, I'm really fucking frustrated at half-time.
c'mon blue. STEP UP.
November 27th, 2010 at 1:58 PM ^
This isnt the only game he has been dropping, but talk about important balls
November 27th, 2010 at 1:58 PM ^
Yeah... as great as Braylon was, he was frustrating to watch on many occasions.
November 27th, 2010 at 2:03 PM ^
November 27th, 2010 at 2:20 PM ^
... needs to be benched. I don't care if he's the best receiver on our team, he is hurting us every single big play. Whoever backs him up could not possibly do any worse.
November 27th, 2010 at 2:24 PM ^
Braylon caught balls in clutch situations and dropped passes when they weren't as important. Roundtree is exactly the opposite.
November 27th, 2010 at 2:37 PM ^
reminds me of hot hands from Little Giants. Maybe we should play with toilet paper
November 27th, 2010 at 3:25 PM ^
I feel like Braylon made Henne, but Denard makes Roundtree.
November 27th, 2010 at 3:40 PM ^
Braylon dropped the occasional ball, but I don't think he was ever this bad at reeling them in. Roy just doesn't get his head in the game often enough.
November 27th, 2010 at 3:46 PM ^
It was a tough day for Roy, but he's been a solid receiver for us on the whole. What I don't understand is why it's cool to bash a player on the team, but not the coach? The entire team lost today, not just one player.

He had his worst game ever in a Michigan uniform, but anyone who is gonna sit around and talk shit about him is a complete fucking douche. Roy has been clutch for us all year, has one bad game, and you turncoats are ready to make him walk the plank? WTF?
November 27th, 2010 at 10:13 PM ^
its THE game dude. it cuts both ways- one game can make you a legend or a choke.
November 28th, 2010 at 1:43 AM ^
lets also not forget that Roy was one of the few bright spots in the game last year... over 100 yards, 9 catches.
seriously, people need to STFU about Roy 'sucking' and needing to be benched. 2 of those drops were plays that were going for probably 3 or 4 yards at most. The 4th down one was huge... but seriously, this guy has given me some faith that Rich can get us solid receivers while maintaining a run-heavy offense. He'll bounce back. 60+ catches for 900 yards? that far exceeds what any wideout has done in Rich Rod's offense.
In general, this whole damn team looked like they were halfway back to Ann Arbor by half-time.
