2 years 18 weeks ago	Really, I don't really care	Really, I don't really care what happens to Barwis.  He's a nice guy that did good things for the Mealer family that should never be forgotten, but there are many equal or better stength and conditioning coaches out there.  I haven't been impressed with our players getting pushed around and man handled like they were the last 3 years.  For some reason everyone thinks of him as some sort of legend, but that is really unfounded.

No it doesn't Mgoliteral.  He can put up points, but he cannot stop anybody.  I'd like to give a pat on the back to Demens, Avery, Vinopal.  Those 3 guys I think played above themselves today.  For all their lack of experience, they made some key  plays.

Why are so many people so willing to accept mediocrity from what is supposed to be a top tier program? This topic was calling it like it is and poses some 100% accurate and indiputable facts about the current and future states of our football program. wolverine318, you sir have failed. as a die hard Michigan fan, i dont want to be associated with you or other so called Michigan fans who think like you. while you are content with being Northwestern and losing to OSU and MSU, i on the other hand want national championships and to beat our rivals.

I get negged all the time for having a realistic view point.  There are a lot of people on here that don't except reality and they neg you for it (look at my points lol).  But I would love to see RR succeed myself, but I just don't see it happening anytime soon (the future of the defense isn't looking too bright as of right now).

This is year 3 for RR and still we have the worst defense in college football. Why is everyone so willing to give RR a free pass even after 3 years? Everyone is so eager to point out what RR has done in the past, even I used to do that, but the truth is, he hasn't done anything while at the greatest university on the planet. And franlkly, that's all that matters. I would love to see RR succeed and for all this to be a matter of inexperience, but then again, this is year 3 and we shouldn't have these excuses anymore. so that tells me he screwed up in years 1&2.

I WAS a supporter of RR, but he has really screwed things up.  We have  had 3 of the worst defenses in Michigan football history and the future still isn't looking to bright as of right now.   Our defense would make Allegany State fans complain.

This pisses me right off!  What an embarrassment this University is right now!  With the state of their program, they can't afford to be shooting themselves in the foot and looking like hypocrites when they offer a kid a scholarship and yank it away as soon as he is ready to come.
