He'll get hammered for sitting Burke so long, but his other mistakes were more costly.  I'm proud that he represents Michigan, but he wasn't up to the task tonight. He's a very good coach. He got beat by a better one.
7 weeks 2 days ago	All Hail Kenpom	I doubted Kenpom's prediction for this game.  During the second half, it was clear he was way off with his Michigan by 1 prediction.  Then, not so much.  I'm stupid.  He's smart.
9 weeks 2 days ago	Disappointing team.	Disappointing team.  Definitely deserved to be the fifth seed in this tournament, and shouldn't be better than a four in the NCAA tourney. If I watched the season in reverse, I'd think Beilein was an awesome coach.

11 weeks 4 days ago	It's not the ref's fault that	It's not the ref's fault that Michigan can't play defense and they are playing with zero composure on offense.  If Michigan was doing what they should be doing, this game wouldn't be anywhere close enough for the refs to be a factor.
13 weeks 12 hours ago	Regardless of the reason they	Regardless of the reason they haven't played well, they haven't played well.  Also, it is ridiculous to say that every team can win on any given day.  If that were true, Penn State wouldn't be 0-12 right now.  I can see that you feel like you are the doing the team a service by defending them, but you are still allowed to make rational arguments.  People are allowed to be frustrated when they watch sports.  It happens.  If they are frustrated because their team has played poorly for several games, that is valid.

13 weeks 13 hours ago	I think it's safe to say that	I think it's safe to say that Michigan isn't a very good team right now despite the record.  They were great early in the season and they've just looked worse and worse in each outing.  Michigan has regressed while other teams have improved.
13 weeks 5 days ago	Even with that we won by 2	Even with that we won by 2 points...at home.  We now have extended our winning streak to one.  Since MSU plays out of their mind against us, being the better team doesn't guarantee a win.  We actually need to show up and meet the inensity of our rivals.  We were very far from doing that tonight.
13 weeks 5 days ago	Has any team regressed more	Has any team regressed more than Michigan since the beginning of the season?  Comparing one of their games from early on to one of the games now is scary.  Meanwhile MSU has improved a ton.  All of the other top Big Ten teams seem to be improving (OSU, MSU, Wisconsin, Indiana) while Michigan looks worse and worse every outing.  Beilein needs to step up.

13 weeks 5 days ago	I never thought too much	I never thought too much about people "getting" the rivalries, but it does seem like OSU and MSU come out and play harder against us in both football and basketball.  I know the coaches talk about the rivalries a lot, but the team doesn't come out with any passion or toughness.  MSU and OSU come out ready to rock.
