OT-Penn St Right Tackle tears ACL
Didn't see it posted so...Penn St's starting RT Lou Eliades tore his ACL against Temple and is done for the season. It is sad because he is a senior but in terms of the Michigan game take it FWIW. It will play a small factor but nothing major IMO.

So many acronyms in one small posting.

How many did I get? 4? Damn, I was going for 5.
September 26th, 2010 at 11:40 PM ^
If only you could have refereneced the Big Ten using B10 you would have been golden.
September 26th, 2010 at 11:51 PM ^
Arne't there five?
OT, RT, ACL, FWIW, and IMO
September 27th, 2010 at 12:10 AM ^
Didn't count the header. That's cheating.

You could have gotten two more easily:
Penn St. == PSU and Senior == Sr.
This kind of half-assed effort is simply UNACCEPTABLE for a Michigan fan. Turn in your jock strap to the equipment manager on the way out.

SIAP...PSU RT L.E. R.I.P. ACL vs. TU, GTFO. zomg SR! 4 UM game TIFWIW. Not BFD IMO.

That is impressive. Are you the parent of a twelve-year-old or something?
September 27th, 2010 at 11:08 AM ^
But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Actually, I taught HS for 6 years.

Argh. Just experience headasplode reading that.
September 27th, 2010 at 12:45 PM ^
Haha, that is awesome

What an elite acronym posting!
September 27th, 2010 at 12:51 AM ^
If you'll give him "Lou" is short for Louis...
(not really an acronym, I know...)
Ok, perhaps not.

That stinks for him. There must be a Big Ten ACL-Hating God -- both Marve and he tore ACL's this week. Hopefully he/she doesn't strike again.

Just trying to keep this professional and PC, seeing that mgoblog is a more reputable and respected news source than the freep or rothstein's work.

Penn State's line was already in trouble. It's almost, but not really, like a secondary injury for Michigan.
September 26th, 2010 at 11:47 PM ^
Wait almost? or not really? Wait what?
September 27th, 2010 at 12:03 AM ^
Sorry, smartass fail.
September 26th, 2010 at 11:45 PM ^
You hate to see those kinds of injuries occurring. I hope he recovers well and takes on a leadership role in getting the troops fired up. Being a senior and having a season-ending injury is never an easy thing.
September 27th, 2010 at 12:19 AM ^
imploring his team to "not give up" when we're busy putting up half-a-hundred on them.
September 27th, 2010 at 12:40 PM ^
Half a hundred? I want to see triple digits!
September 27th, 2010 at 5:09 PM ^
That is definitely the plan.
September 26th, 2010 at 11:47 PM ^
the backup is? Will it require a re-shuffle a la Molk or is there a capable backup ready to be inserted?
September 26th, 2010 at 11:51 PM ^
They inserted a RS junior who played okay against Temple.
September 26th, 2010 at 11:51 PM ^
Is not something I want to hear with Robinson or anybody on our team as this season moves along. Out of all the injuries in football this one is one of the most devastating.
September 27th, 2010 at 12:48 AM ^
with the possible exception of Justin Boren.
September 27th, 2010 at 12:52 AM ^
And Tacopants. But I think he's transferred to ND, so then again, let him be.

September 27th, 2010 at 12:42 PM ^
No, I saw him on the field last night for the Dolphins. Henne tried to hit him a couple times. I know Brandon Marshall is tall, but he ain't got shit on Tacopants!
September 27th, 2010 at 10:04 AM ^
Hopefully he can get a medical redshirt. Prayers go out for a speedy recovery!
September 27th, 2010 at 5:48 PM ^
Lucky for him, I think this is just in time for a medical redshirt. It would suck for that to happen one week to late.
That said, I'll take all the help I can get against Penn State. RVB's day just got a little easier.
