After just finishing John Bacon's most recent book, I can't help but cheer for Brady. I hope he does great at Oregon. I didn't love him on the Sirius college football radio show. I don't think broadcasting/radio is his calling.
If anything, a great chance to figure out how to defend a spread offense that is uptempo.

Done with beer for the winter, switched to single malts until the weather warms up.

Well, at least you don't have to study antiarrhythmics and their drug drug interactions. It could be worse.

Ha, I have the glenlivet 15 too! Not my favorite but got a great deal on a box set of glenlivet 12, 15, and 18 at Costco. Trying to lube up a bit prior to the GF's holiday work party.

It is telling to me because it is tangible evidence that the coaches feel like the player they covet the most might be going elsewhere. I think several weeks ago, 'contingency' offers went out to other tight ends, which was consistent with Isaac Nauta likely going to UGA.
When we were waiting on Devin Bush Jr to declare, posters pointed to the fact that other linebacker offers didn't go out, supporting the confidence the coaches had in Devin Bush Jr's commitment.
Now, granted, if Delance isn't telling ANYONE whats going on, and the Michigan coaches are making an additional offer on no additional information, then it is a contingency plan.
My conclusion is that the most 'telling' or informative thing the coaches can do when considering a desired recruit that is about to declare within a week or so, is to send out other offers. It is more informative than listening to the recruiting experts as we have all seen with the Bush Jr recruitment.

Well crystal balls swinging away from Michigan and another OT is offered, tells you what is going on.

Would love to get David long too. Explosive athlete per my limited ability to scout high school players.
|6 weeks 2 days ago||Peppers||
They have done a great job limiting info on peppers injury. I think no one outside the Michigan football program, including Florida, has any idea how much peppers will play.

Best blog. Done my beveled guilt. Podcasts are my favorite. I do find that when I try to go to older forum posts after the game, when I try to click to the second page on the website, the forum posts go away.

I wonder if the refs think that Harbaugh is 'showing them up' by arguing these calls and making a scene. Perhaps it pisses them off, and that is why calls are generally so one-sided?

If I had to guess, I wouldn't think Cardale was the responsible one....

Ufer guy is annoying. One of the skilled radio host skills is cutting off the caller at the right moment to answer the question without letting the caller 'testify'.

Not an mgodoctor opinion, but it sounds like you strained your neck muscles. My girlfriend had a 'whiplash' injury after a carwreck, and had the same problems you did. Her pain was worse then next day, not the day of the accident. Then it became even worse. She didn't have any numbness or weakness, just stiff and sore. It was worse after a night's sleep.
She was evaluated in the ER, with a normal CT scan. She was given pain meds and muscle relaxants to take. Those helped at night. After she started feeling better, she did stretching exercises, got a massage, and it took a few weeks, but things returned to normal.
As always, if you are concerned, go see your doctor, but this was just our experience.

Are we in on another ruby style kicker for next year?
|21 weeks 42 min ago||I say go with Harbaugh||
I don't like seeing the OSU player every week anyway. I would rather have harbaugh going nuts. Let's make it about Michigan, not Michigan's opponents.

In reading that in a positive light. He is needed at receiver, and has use at that position.
|22 weeks 3 days ago||Isaac||
He looked good, but I did notice before out turnover on downs, that he took I swing pass (if I'm remembering correctly) and stepped out of bounds short of the first down. At 6 ft 3 inches, 225 lbs or so, I was hoping he could lower his shoulder and get the necessary yards.
|22 weeks 3 days ago||Agreed||
Seems like a normal day. Very quiet here. Lots of Michigan fans at the university guest house. But everyone, including the Michigan fans, seem quiet. Just a few "go blue" comments. I think our fans are still having ptsd from the prior seasons.

Do not get the porcupine pilsner on draft. Awful!

After you pay for your tickets, $35 a seat for cushions is cheap for a nice plush cushion that guarantees that you get the entirety of your seat no matter who is sitting next to you.

Going to go with blue.

This guy has to be legit as bacon must have vetted him, but it does seem hard to believe that this guy played such a central role in things. Also his contacts are pretty amazing; Carr and others. Think perhaps he is exaggerating his role and his connections to these people?

Every day is pour over day. I have some freshly roasted beans from brioso in Columbus, OH. There is an interesting guy who owns the place. Kinda fanatical, but based on the beans I picked, knew what my beers of choice were. Pretty impressive. Gotta have freshly roasted beans, grind them yourself, and enjoy!
I do use a scale to get the coffee/water proportion the same each time. A burr grinder (mentioned above) is a great way to get a consistent grind. Also, I use a digital electric kettle. Sounds nuts, but as I tell everyone, it makes things very quick and easy to get good consistent coffee.

Peppers. I've heard all the hype but haven't seen anything yet. If he can live up to it, we have a superstar on the team. Otherwise, I can't think of anyone who will be totally electric.
|27 weeks 4 days ago||more than bad taste||
I think the interviews with the former members of the band is the worst part. The "people knew I was only kidding" when they referenced gay people in the songs and in the band is terrible. I'm sure he didn't have a clue whether those people were offended or not. They probably wouldn't say anything about it in fear they would be ridiculed. It's sad that even after college these people didn't figure out their mistakes.

I live in Columbus and it is fine. I don't wear a bunch of Michigan stuff anymore, but the great majority of Columbus inhabitants are pleasant.
