62 yards on his first play from scrimmage isn't too shabby.

Same play same cut twice in a row but it looked great! Hope he can get more carries

Fred Jackson is like Cassandra, blessed with a gift of prophecy, but cursed so that no one believes him.

I was surprised he got caught, but on the reply it looked like he was running contently, unlike Shaw rage that we saw earlier.

Kinda looked like he thought he was gone, howeva dude isstill a BEAST.

2 Heismans. My boy is the real deal.

...may be indicative that his knee still isn't 100%.
September 25th, 2010 at 3:19 PM ^
It did look like he was favoring his left knee just a little bit. I'm guessing he's not 100% yet.
September 25th, 2010 at 3:01 PM ^
I think he hit the hyperspace button...
September 25th, 2010 at 3:08 PM ^
I think this offense is just hitting the tip of the iceberg. 2011 and 2012 are going to be ridiculous. Who knew we would see Yost's point a minute teams in the 21st century.

is Defense? Who needs defense?
Seriously... has there ever, EVER been a Michigan team... or maybe any team at all with as many weapons as we have?
September 25th, 2010 at 4:50 PM ^
I also think RR's genius offensive scheme has a lot to do with it
September 25th, 2010 at 3:18 PM ^
he wasn't
September 25th, 2010 at 3:18 PM ^
Both plays had huge holes and he got caught from behind on the long run... You guys are being a little too fast on nominating this guy as a messiah.
September 25th, 2010 at 3:22 PM ^
He's coming back from a knee injury and looked like he still had a brace on. And about hitting the holes, I would contend vision is one of the most important things for a back. 2 carries is a small sample size, but so far, I like!
September 25th, 2010 at 3:44 PM ^
Emphasis on small sample size...I admit he looked pretty good, but nothing to tell me he shouldn't be higher than 4th on the depth chart.
September 25th, 2010 at 3:24 PM ^
I've never seen someone in the open field not running on the balls of their feet. He had a funny heel-first running motion.
September 25th, 2010 at 3:27 PM ^
having this many running backs in the stable. Bring on the Hoosiers! Have your gum ready coach.
September 25th, 2010 at 3:34 PM ^
Fitz looked good exploding through the line but I think he got caught cuz he took his foot off the gas, nothing to do with his knee! I expect to see more carries for him during big ten play!
September 25th, 2010 at 3:55 PM ^
finally nice to see this kid playing. Def look forward to seein him a lot more this season once he is fully healthy

September 25th, 2010 at 7:30 PM ^
....was standing around on the sideline for a few hours before they called his number. If he was warmed up and loose before he took it down the field, I don't think anyone would have caught him. No worries.
September 25th, 2010 at 8:52 PM ^
i saw that even if his knee is not at 100% he made an awesome cut to get up the middle. the speed will come back with some barwasizing and then he is going to give some opposing d's some FITZ!!
September 25th, 2010 at 9:21 PM ^
He seemed to recognize and hit the hole much quicker than the other backs. But then again, he had 2 runs so i shouldn't be making such rash judgments
