OT - Cissoko Assaults Jail Employees
Cissoko is accused of assaulting a sergeant and two officers at the county jail on Hogback Road in Pittsfield Township at 8:26 a.m. on July 31, records show....
Court records don't indicate he has been arraigned on the latest charges.
If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison on each felony count.
I can't believe how far he's fallen. I still hope the best for him. Hopefully he can get out, get back into a school and play some ball. He had some skill but never really got to use it.

What in the hell is going on?! It's like a really, really bad movie with each utterly depressing development.
To the OP, I wouldn't hold my breath with regards to seeing him on a football field...unless he's in a movie with The Rock or Adam Sandler.

I can hope. He deserves a 2nd (5th?) chance.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:32 PM ^
Like someone else mentioned, he has some serious mental issues that are completely destroying his life. I would think a psychiatric evaluation might be in his future. This is an increasingly disturbing series of events.

I feel bad for the guy, but I also find myself wondering if he crossed his arms and rhythmically nodded his head following the prison assault.

Really?
August 25th, 2010 at 12:09 AM ^
he doesn't "deserve" anything. that's the problem with society today. it's never my fault and i'm owed something. he was given a great opportunity and failed. but "deserve". i'm tired of that BS.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:19 PM ^
He's the poster boy on how to ruin your life in just one year.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:19 PM ^
How does one go from a full ride to one of the best schools in the country to sitting in an Ad Seg unit inside a county jail? That must have been one messed up childhood.
August 24th, 2010 at 11:02 PM ^
Apparently, he actually had a good upbringing. I've heard (not from any sources everyone else doesn't have access to) that he was praying five times a day before leaving for college, and this downturn has been a serious, serious shock to his family, which thought they had raised a model young citizen.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:20 PM ^
What is happening with this kid?
August 24th, 2010 at 7:20 PM ^
We all hope he can figure things out, but as far as he has fallen he will most likely never play football again. He has some other serious mental issues he needs to figure out
August 24th, 2010 at 7:22 PM ^
Unfortunate, I think pretty much sums up this whole situation.
August 24th, 2010 at 11:03 PM ^
unfortunate generally refers to when something bad happens out of your control. In this case, it is clearly poor choices that have led to all of this.
With that being sad, I wish him the best of luck and will pray that he takes a step back to refocus and correct his life and future decisions.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:31 PM ^
if this kid went to MSU we would be making fun of him. what a double standard everyone shows.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:35 PM ^
Thank God you're here to show us what heels we all are.
P.S. In a situation like this, where a kid has fallen this far, I don't think school affiliation would matter anymore to anyone, and if it did, that person is probably just a jerk to begin with.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:39 PM ^
Or accusing you of hypocrasy, but I don't really see how the Winston situation is so different from this. And he got hammered on here. An athlete with a promising future ruins it by making bad decision after bad decision.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:46 PM ^
I think Cissoko's fall from grace has been way harder than Winston's, and much more confusing. But, if Glenn assaults an officer of the law, I will just shake my head and again wonder what in the hell would cause someone to continue to dig their own grave.
August 25th, 2010 at 7:01 AM ^
and we never wanted him to end up this way, I'm tired of strangers saying about how they want the best for him and that they hope he gets another chance. Yes, I know it's sad.
Hopefully on his way to regaining some semblance of self-respect, he stops hurting others.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:55 PM ^
I thought the majority of comments related to Winston were actually shots at Dantonio...
August 24th, 2010 at 7:45 PM ^
Agreed, when DR burns OSU's secondary for another touchdown I will cheer and if our stellar secondary manages to give up a touchdown to them I will cringe.
I thought that made me a Michigan fan, apparently i also have a double standard.
August 25th, 2010 at 10:11 AM ^
he has to score one before he can score another. Semantics.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:36 PM ^
eh, I disagree. For instance, a lot of people in the here have shown support for Maurice Clarett and his life rehabilitation. One reason why people may have a hard time here with State and these types of stories is because many local reporters highlight our problems while shying away from the similar the problems that State has had. So, in a nutshell our problem with State is the double standard that many reporters have shown.
August 24th, 2010 at 8:19 PM ^
I'm glad to see you mention Clarett, whose story had an even stranger low point - the Israeli mafia? Really? - and has featured what seems to be a positive transformation.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:36 PM ^
Very true.
Still, that kid is just a mess. What a shame.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:38 PM ^
...he would still be on the football team.
August 24th, 2010 at 8:13 PM ^
and a real hit at the frat houses.
August 24th, 2010 at 9:24 PM ^
he'd still be on their team.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:36 PM ^
I wish the kid the best. I hope he can sort his life out, like Maurice Clarett.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:40 PM ^
I only talk about kids that play for michigan.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:44 PM ^
Whenever Cissoko's name appears in the news, it will always be tied to Michigan football. Hopefully the next time we see it, it will be in a positive article.
August 24th, 2010 at 8:56 PM ^
i still talk about henne, hart, long, manningham, edwards, harris, woodley, graham, mesko, foote, woodson, ect. And I'm pretty sure they don't play for Michigan.
August 24th, 2010 at 10:07 PM ^
why are you commenting?
August 24th, 2010 at 7:44 PM ^
His life is a mess and it's only going to get worse.

He's young, always got a chance to turn his life around. Hopefully he learns a lesson soon.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:51 PM ^
I hope that a psychiatric evaluation finds something. If it doesn't, I would be far more concerned at such an utter lack of understanding of how to blend into civilization. Boo-boo is definitely showing signs that he just doesn't "get it."
As for Michigan fans and Clarett, I made fun of him quite a bit, but I remember posting that I hope he takes advantage of the chance he has right now. Also, I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only person who were supportive and hopeful that he can make it "back" into society. I can understand a Buckeye thinking that way, though. The main difference I have seen between Michigan and OSU fans is that Michigan fans "hate" OSU like one would "hate" a professional wrestling villian or a character in a movie, while OSU fans really, actually hate Michigan fans and all things related to Michigan in real life.
The best example of this is that Michigan fans never vandalize OSU cars when they come to Ann Arbor, but OSU fans vandalize a lot of Michigan cars when they go to Columbus. Basically, OSU fans spend a lot more time and energy on Michigan than Michigan fans do on OSU.
August 24th, 2010 at 7:55 PM ^
Dude, no one even mentioned Clarett, except for Not a Blue Fan, who mentioned that he hoped Cissoko could get his life back together, in a way that Clarett is currently attempting to do.
This thread has absolutely nothing to do with Ohio State or Maurice Clarett. Jeez Louise, man, not everything has to be a diatribe on the evils of MSU and/or OSU.
August 24th, 2010 at 8:16 PM ^
+1
You get the whole OSU thing. It's creepy isn't it?
August 24th, 2010 at 7:52 PM ^
Or maybe the Qur'an. Or the Dao De Jing. Or <insert religious text here>
August 24th, 2010 at 9:17 PM ^
Give him a copy of The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Bibles and shit have had 2000 or more years to cure the world's ills.
They're failing miserably.
August 24th, 2010 at 9:36 PM ^
The world will never be cured of all it's problems because man is inherantly evil. The Bible is the Word of God, it's there so that it can be spread and that more people can have a hope of leaving this life for a better one, it doesn't just make the world a better place just by being there.
