OT: Top 3 schools you would like the Football team to schedule a future Home/Home against
Pretty self explanatory. What 3 programs would you like to see Michigan schedule a future home/home series against.
Keep in mind we already have future tilts scheduled against Texas, Oklahoma, UCLA, VT, Washington.
Mine in no particular order
LSU
Clemson
Stanford

We'll clearly establish UM is pretty much best at everything.

- Tennessee
- LSU

Tennessee isn't much of a fertile recruiting ground compared to the rest of the South, and while they've gotten better, they haven't quite yet escaped their "has-been" status.
I'd swap Tennessee out for FSU, Auburn, A&M, or Texas.

Teams that are perennially overrated, have southern recruiting footprint, and would probably result in a Michigan 'quality win':
Arkansas
Texas
Georgia

Oklahoma is already on the schedule, but not until 2025-26.
All the same, they're a great addition.

LSU - would love to travel to Death Valley for a game. In fact, being there for an LSU-Alabama game is one of my "bucket list" games, so being there for a Michigan game would be even better. I want to see just how loud that place really gets.
Georgia - would make for some great banter between the wife and I, but I've been to Sanford Stadium and its a great place to see a game.
Clemson - Why not make the trip to both Death Valleys? But really, I'm a sucker for team entrances and Clemson's entrance is among the best.
Close-but-not-quites are:
1) USC, just for revenge for a bunch of lost Rose Bowls. And:
2) Texas A&M. Whether they're any good or not, I want to see what a gameday experience at Kyle Field is like.

Not sure you want to go to a game at LSU where you're rooting for the other team. Their fans are notorious for treatment of opponents and their fans. Georgia, on the other hand, would be top of my list. Great stadium and great fans. OTOH, would love to go there for a Bama game, assuming it would be competitive.

that playing one game has on recruiting (in that region). It's not like kids can't watch any team, anytime, anywhere on TV. Coaches have private jets to fly to any high school and visit any kids they want. This isn't the 60s when playing in a state was your one chance for exposure.
I don' really see how a game in Georgia or South Carolina moves the needle for kids on those areas that are 99% not leaving the region anyway.
Now, I do think playing in marquee games, in general, is appealing to kids. If you can tell a kid, hey look, in addition to the Big Ten teams on the schedule, in your four years you'll also play Alabama and USC. That's big. ND, Texas and Oklahoma probably all fit as "sexy" games, so I agree with your first list.
I don't really think Miami or Georgia are nationally sexy enough (right now at least) to fit in with the above.
