OT: Tom Frickin' Brady...
...is now 50-1 at Gillette Stadium since 2007.
Yep, 50-1.
I'm sorry if you're not a Patriots fan, but if you're on this board, just enjoy the rest of this insane ride. We will never see anything approach this again from a quarterback. Ever. The numbers are just, well, insane.
Go Blue, Go Pats, Go TB12!
EDIT: So, the question is, where did this stat come from? I made the mistake of repeating what ESPN said (or what I heard) postgame. Personally, I think it's likely his record versus the AFC at home in the regular season since (and including) 2007.
But, whether it's 100% accurate or not (probably not considering the source is the 4 letter network), it's likely very close. Either way, it's still way beyond anything normal, obviously. Of course, the the spread-option could somehow becomes dominant in the NFL (right?), making OSU QBs hot commodities. Or just hot commodes. But I digress...

I am almost this good in MaddenMobile. To do this in real life is sickening. Is the voracity of OP confirmed? This ain't real.

I was busy putting my cape away after going 25-38 with 406 yards and 3 TDs. It's tough turning the #1 defensive team (in terms of YPG) into the #4 team in the NFL....at 39 yrs old with the annual hodge podge of WRs, RBs, and TEs. TB12, aka The GOAT, aka The Pharoah, aka Tommy Terrific, aka California Cool signing off.
GO BLUE!!!!!

In his home starts, the Patriots are 92-15. Brady has 196 touchdown passes and 53 interceptions in those games. He has thrown for 26,685 yards at home (249.4 per game).
In his regular season road starts, the Patriots are 73-34. Brady has 210 touchdowns and 91 picks, to go with 28,272 yards (264.2 per game).
Brady's home career quarterback rating (97.7) in regular season games actually isn't all that different than his road quarterback rating (95.2).

was 50 wins in December.
He ties Brent Faaarrvera for most NFL QB wins in December. While Brett had 20-something L's, Tom has only 5 (IIRC) based on the graphic they showed during the game.
So, the OP got the "50" part right.
One of my favorite shirts after Brett "retired":

the team posted this...
http://www.patriots.com/news/2014/10/16/game-notes-tom-brady-wins-41st-…
41st in a row. It's starting to feel like we're splitting hairs. The sheer number of crazy win-loss stats that can be conjured up regarding his career are seemingly endless.
edit: WTH, that was dated in October...anyway, nevermind, he fucking wins more than just about anybody. Discuss...

And they are perfect during his career in games that they have outscored their opponent. Unreal!

Patriots win more than just about anybody. They're an unstoppable force with one of the best ever at the helm, and are almost a self-running machine. Will be interesting to see how big (or small) the drop off is once Brady retires (assuming Belicheck doesn't retire at the same time).
December 13th, 2016 at 12:57 AM ^
in Foxborough if Brady and Belicheck retired at the same time? That would be one big time depressed town...
December 13th, 2016 at 1:14 AM ^
more than anybody this millenium. But the discussion in NE is all about how long TB12 can last, particularly at this totally unrealistic level. The local sports media opinion, in my personal unscientific survey, is 3 more seasons. The question will be, when does Belichick (yes, that's the correct spelling) go in another direction...or does he?

Since Belichick is a vampire/undead, I bet he waits until he turns 70 to get his maximum benefits.

is having the tools to do it. He knew he could count on Brady and the receiver to connect. That makes that call a lot easier to make. It is mind boggling how good those 2 are (Belicheck and Brady).
December 13th, 2016 at 12:56 AM ^
Belicheck has the track record to suggest it
December 13th, 2016 at 12:59 AM ^
Belicheck makes players better. He'll find another servicable QB after Brady retires but I would be shocked if the numbers were as good.
