UF isn't going to be any better than this when we open with them next year.  No worries...

And this game is only reinforcing my belief that Michigan is the best team available to take them on.  They don't look overly world-beating to me, and our defense is hella better than UF's.

Alaama is a soul-less machine of death and strangulation.  This is what it looks like when you have the #1 recruiting class like 568 years in a row.

Florida has a former Purdue QB as their QB while Bama has five 5*s that start and the first two guys off the bench are D'Shawn Hand and Tony Brown - both 5*s?

Sounds like two comparable division winners. Sheesh.

Honestly, I don't know how confident I am about Michigan's DL stopping Alabama's rushing attack. They just have so many weapons out of the backfield... Scarbrough, Hurts, Jacobs and Harris. Four distinctly different runners, and all 3 RBs would probably be starters at other programs.

Honestly do people enjoy watching bama win year after year? What does Saban has more to prove at this point? Is he just riding it until retiring because watching bama constantly is not fun to be honest.

If it were us you guys wouldn't have any problem. What's Alabama supposed to do? Not try, recruit less?

Every other team plays the game like kids. Bama plays the game like men. Their ability doesn't hurt either.

Agree with this sentiment. Yeah at some level it's tiring, and envy inspiring, but at another level you have to admire the sheer excellence. Besides that, every dynasty has it's time. The beauty of our fandom is that we love Michigan football through it all.

I'm not suggesting doing anything - I'm just saying it leads to boredom with the championship. If Michigan doesn't get in (which is the likely scenario) this will be the first year I won't even watch the playoffs. No interest.

No i am just shocked that saban is still around and not willing to take on the challenge and change another program. That would show how good he really is and probably be the called the best coach to ever lived (not that he isnt now). I always thought coaches liked to be challenged like that.

I mean...we did beat the shit out of an arguably better Florida team last year so, Bama is awesome but we don't know how we'd fare against this team unless we played them. It's just too difficult to compare without head to head matchups. We'll get a chance one day and see where we match up. It's unfortunate we couldn't reduce self-influcted mistakes against OSU to have a chance.

produce 16 pts while the O generated -4 yards in the 1st quarter. Great athletes and depth delivered TDs on 2picks and a punt block. UM defense finished 76th in FBS for turnovers largely because they only recovered 5 fumbles all year. Even 12 INTs placed middle of the pack. Fumbles are largely a byproduct of luck per Mgoblog analysis, so great defense and 10-2 season with bad luck. Nothing feels more Michigan than that scenario - greatness robbed by bad luck. Sheesh. Back to drinking.
