PennLive Take: Different Now than Last Week
I don't know how often anyone watches the post game video hits beat writers do, but the shock and awe on display here, to me, is pretty telling.

Much easier just to make a reply with the embed.

I honestly thought the guy on the right was on the verge of saying "fuck this, I have a life to live" and just walking off at least 3 times.
And after the stint we went through, I found myself relating.

Shaquon Barkley was the best player for PSU - by far. If the Nittany Lions are going to run a spread attack with him, they have to have the QB run some of the time, otherwise it is NOT credible. They have to try for shoot outs.
The talent gap was clearly there. Franklin is in his 3rd year after two 7-6 years. Having endured similar situations in the recent pass, it may be a 3 and out situation.

But it featured a certain gentleman whose opinions are largely frowned upon in these parts.

Sharp is really amazing. I actually felt bad for how obnoxiously he was trolling the MSU players. Who else has that kind of power?

No shit. They were surprised their offense couldn't do anything? Did they realize this was set up to be maybe the best defense in the nation after already fielding one of the best defenses last year while losing very few players?
They talked about not reaching .500 in conference play. They just played one of the best teams in the country on the road.

Just imagine how much worse it could have gotten for PSU if they didn't "win the coaching matchup."
September 25th, 2016 at 1:34 PM ^
It doesn't get easier for them, at least in terms of dealing wth a running game, next week. That's all Minnesota does well. Now, they should score more, but it's going to be more of the same coming down their throats for a while.

The only thing missing from this is them agreeing to the effect that, "This beatdown makes us realize, Paterno DID know."

To crush your enemies. Check.
To see them driven before you. Check.
To hear the lamentations of their women. Check-plus, thanks to this video.

Drew Sharp is just an idiot (ok - we all knew that), but still he wants to throw the team under the bus. Truth is the ND sucks and their "big" win was totally washed away by Duke.
Wouldn't a loss to IU just be icing on the cake !!!
Go Blue!

Normally I would kind of feel bad for a team if we were up 40 and still played the starters, but after seeing them do dumb shit like shush the crowd after defending a pass or celebrating a special teams tackle while being blown out, I'm happy Jim Harbaugh kept his foot on the gas.

or we won't win... Remember when we used to have to say that? Yay Harbaugh!
