OSU opened at -2.5 v. UM, quickly moved to UM -1.5; MSU opens at -1.5 v. PSU

OSU +1.5 @ Michigan

PSU +1.5 @ Michigan State

All 3 teams - Michigan, OSU and MSU - NEED a win next week, and according to the gamblers these games are both virtual tossups.

Give it to them. States DL may be slightly better than M but OL are worse. Hackenburg will have to play better than last Saturday - and I am sure he will.

State's DL and front seven all together are much stronger than ours. Their deficiencies in the back end won't be exposed because of this. Unless there are screen plays and other long hand offs implemented in their game plan to get the skill players in space, they will go down big and Hackenberg will lead them in that direction. I would not ask him to hold the ball for longer than 2.7 seconds. When that clock is realized, dump it over the l.o.s. and rehuddle. If not, no chance.

Nothing that we post on this site is significant in comparison to that post.  But we come here to post nonetheless.  If we were to hold that as a measuring stick, Brian would be unemployed and I'd have a lot more time free at work.

This is not to take anything away from what the Carr family is going through.  It's absolutely miserable.  Just let events like this put life into perspective and you'll learn how to not be that annoying fan with no sense of reality.

I think the PSU line changed when word got out that they planned to throw the ball against the MSU secondary and even use their top running back.  Urban Meyer was asked about PSU's decision to play to their strengths, then he opened a giant duffle bag full of cash and smirked.

Joking that he threw the game because there seems to be no other explanation for not running your Heisman candidate RB and not throwing deep balls against a terrible secondary.  Well, I guess the other explanation is that Meyer is the most overrated coach in the game, but I don't really believe that either.

There is no line yet for the MSU game, change the thread title.  They'll open at -7  or so and if Cook is annouced as the starter that will be -12 easily.

I don't want to believe it but if the weathers good, PSU will have a chance. Lots of deep bombs against that secondary with a few Barkley runs mixed in. PSU defense is just good enough. Especially if cook is out.

are not going to like what you see.  Over on Black Shoe Diaries, in a post called "Who do you Want to Win the BIG East,"(with an unintentionally funny picture of Delton Williams carrying the Sparty flag) a majority of the posters are picking MSU.  Wow, glad to see the fans are behind the team next week.

Complete and total despondence there and elsewhere.  Lots of hate for Franklin and Donovan (with the odd bit of hate to the NCAA for the sanctions; they'll still be blaming the sanctions 20 years from now).

None of them give their team any chance of winning.
