UM/MSU Eve POSBANG
Happy Friday and UM/MSU Eve to all of my fellow Wolverine fans. Only one more day until we get this game going (finally). This week has dragged slower for me than last week, but hopefully we will see a fourth straight shutout (would that be a record?), but I doubt that happens. It will likely be a stressful, close game, but Michigan will win. Go blue. Enjoy your Friday.

Stanford - Utah would be an epic match in the Pac 12 championship game.

That was a great play even before the catch was made and the catch......WOW! QB was the third man to get the ball. Maybe Dantonio isn't watching tonight?

Stanford game is turning into a blowout. I can't wait until our offense looks like this.

Maybe it already does . . . hmmm?
NW held Stanford's offense to 6 points. NW "held" Michigan's offense to 38 points.
Just sayin'.

It's still just a good Sparty team, mid season which decides very little. It's not Vandy beating Alabama, if it happens. Expect to win.

Stanford caning UCLA. Win against Northwestern is slightly better.

While the win against BYU is slightly worse.
Bizzare.

I'm so ready for the game! Like most fans, I'm interested to see how Jake Rudock handles himself in his first big rivalry game as a Wolverine. In a strange, homerish way of thinking, I believe there is some small advantage to being a newcomer at his specific position with his experience and background. His focus, of course, will be the same as it is every game -- dissect the defense, make the right read, and get the ball where it needs to go with accuracy. Howeva, this game will be so much more intense than any other he's played in thus far, and it will be played at a much higher speed. These challenges notwithstanding, he has such a nice array of offensive weapons at his disposal this time around. I'm sure some of the more veteran Wolverines (staff included) have given him the necessary background in the rivalry, but I imagine him taking a very workmanlike approach to the game -- just take care of business, and win, baby.
Save a late pick in '13 that pretty much sealed the game for Sparty, he put on a decent performance against a very stout Spartan defense: he completed his last 11 passes of the first half against the Spartan D and put up good numbers through the first 2 quarters of play. If not for Dennard (2 picks), he might have done enough to get the W for the Hawkeyes, though their offense was nonexistent in the second half of that game. He was also the leading rusher against Sparty that day -- at 11(!) yards total on the ground. Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure our running back committee will put up much more than that on Saturday.
Go Blue!

Please feel free to bang hard here -- I have a paltry 80 mgopoints at this point in time, and you know, I'm like, trying to move up in life.

I can't figure out that picture. They really seem to be posing like that..in a bathroom.
It's a little early. Am I just not picking up on the photoshop clues? Is Connor Cook's hand really on that dude's hip?
