What are you going to do?

If you can't play it anywhere near Maryland due to the weather, then play it in Ann Arbor, charge $10-$20 for the tickets and give Maryland a huge chunk of the cash.

Maryland allowing them to move the game to AA is the football equivalent of putting on 50 pounds after you get married because you just don't care anymore.  That's the kind of shit you do when you're just content to go through the motions and not, you know, win the game.

Can someone please set up an MGoSurvey so we can once and for all determine the majority opinion of where this blog would like the game played?  Time is of the essence so we have time to channel this information to the logistics crews of both teams.  Thank you!

Move it to Ann Arbor! I'll be town for the BCAM clinic anyway, looking forward to seeing full Beilein team practice on Sunday, game at big house Saturday would rock!

This begs the question, what the hell is the NFL going to do?  DC, Baltimore, Philly, and NY are all in the potential path on Sunday.

I'm too lazy to look it up, but there has to be at least 2 or 3 games scheduled to be played in some of those stadiums.

The NFL has dealt with this before.  They also are pretty lucky this time.  Baltimore is at Pittsburgh tomorrow, the Giants are at Buffalo and the Jets are playing Miami in London.  That just leaves one game--Philadelphia at Washington--and both teams have a November 1 bye; they can just move it to the bye week.

It won't be easy but moving it to A2 then moving our home game there next season makes the most sense from a fairness standpoint. We'd get an extra home game this year and an extra road game next year, and vice versa for Maryland. It's not perfect but we have to deal with this somehow and I don't know that there's a better solution. The league Revenue that would be generated from a free/highly discounted game on short notice a the Big House would probably still dwarf what the game would have brought in at Maryland.

Turn it into a home game! Give season ticketholders and students free tickets, sell the rest for super cheap due to the short notice! Wishful thinking? Sigh, ok, I guess you're right.

It's probably going to be fine.  There's no reason to panic, the hurricane itself won't be impacting the area until late Sunday, until then it's just heavy rain from Thurs-Sat.

^ guy who has never dealt with a hurricane

Do you realize that people will be spending all weekend EVACUATING the city? Do you realize that there will be no emergency personnel to deal with the 54,000 strong football crowd that would be in attendance? Come on, man.
