OT: Bret Bielema's DNA is all over...
The Razorbacks' offense.
Arkansas’ style of play is no secret. Bielema prefers it that way.
"I always think of it in these terms: If we were involved in a crime scene and we did it, they should be able to tell right away because it's part of our DNA."
“There's nothing I love more than to watch a high-powered, fast-paced offense and to see their coaches pacing the sideline because they can't get the ball,” Bielema said. “It just pisses 'em off. It's a great tool because it begins to affect their psyche.”

College football article about a former B1G coach, and it's marked "OT"... I fail to see the issue.

Oh good god.
"It's properly OT'd"!!!!!
More like, it's properly labeled as a leading fucking subject that implies that Bielema may be ejaculating wherever he god damn pleases.
Take your "It's properly OT"'d comment and go fuck yourself with it, buddy.

The whole ejaculation theme is juvenile

He can't, he probably needs a little "recycle time"

Jerks.

I have to admidt - that is exactly what I thought I'd be reading about as well.
Which surprised me somewhat. Not because I think Bielema is above that type of behavior but have you seen his wife? Talk about punching above your weight - no way in hell is Brett gonna be able to improve on that IMO.

ESPN once did a brief story on some of the coaches in the SEC and their wives. The Bielamas were fortunately one of the couples they profiled.
I forget the exact story, but they met at a blackjack table in Vegas. Then he hit on her a bunch.

If he goes and fucks himself with it, won't more DNA, which is apparently what you are against, be spread around?!

Are giving us a bad name.
August 17th, 2015 at 10:33 AM ^
Well there's apparently nothing to talk about regarding our own team right now considering there were only 5 posts on the board yesterday and the only one relating to Michigan football was a "hype video".

w/pretending to be high, mighty and comprised of all knowing football gurus who would much rather rip any poster not in the clique for posting than having a dynamic engaging blog. Many seem perfectly content to sit and stare at a static blog.

Even if I was, kind of a boring story with no real news to be honest.

Paleolithic or not, it works. Arkansas was #28 in Offensive FEI last year and #9 in F/+.
August 17th, 2015 at 11:12 AM ^
That's super. I don't like him or his offense.
August 17th, 2015 at 11:50 AM ^
I get that. I don't particularly like to watch the spread. That said, I'll happily watch if it's my offense and my team is winning.
In the end... an offense is a tool. Zealotry over a tool is generally bad.

Speaking as a consumer, If I'm watching a game that doesn't involve my team, I want to be entertained. Bielama's offense doesn't entertain me - bores me, actually. More so than most manball outfits.

My first time really watching them since the Alvarez era was with Russell Wilson, and I'm realizing thats quite the outlier.

Arkansas primed to do big things this year.

Arkansas prob would have won the Big 10 west (or SEC East) last year but finished something like 5th in their own division. Very smash mouth defense and offense in Wisconsin vein. They do need their QB to step up this year - the main missing piece (hey just like Wisconsin most years). Unfort they just lost their top RB to injury for quite a while but they probably have a stable of them (hey just like Wisconsin).
August 17th, 2015 at 10:48 AM ^
Yeah, it's almost amazing how despite how good Wisconsin has been at producing OL's and RB's, they've been horrible at developing QB's. They only get partial credit for Russell Wilson who spent just one year at Wiscy.

I haven't checked, but I'm assuming you're posting this same message on the PGA and "famous celebrities you've seen in public" threads.
I'd rather read this than those.

I'm just letting you know this comment "community" used to be pretty good.
Smart, funny and at least slightly connected. Now it's basically just a bunch of middle aged dicks wearing jeans and M t-shirts spouting off about how everyone is a "pussy" or "gay."
It's not funny. It's certainly not smart... it's pretty sad is what it is.
It's really a shame.
