Do we not get an official HELLO post from Brian?

So I get we made the announcement but when do the teams start wearing Nike/ when will Nike stuff start showing up at MDen?
I thought Adidas had us under contract for the next academic year?
So Adidas has a whole lame duck year. MDen can't be happy because the Adidas stuff will be treated like the kid who always has lice.
I would guess that 99% of fans (everyone not on mgoblog) neither know nor care who makes the apparel.
There have been pretty steady rumors that Jumpman (aka the Jordan brand/wing of Nike) will be a part of a deal with Nike
Is that good or bad?
Why can't bball just be Nike as well?
Are you actually hoping for the answers to these questions from a ranodm internet commentor?
LOL is that KANSAS?
Yeah he was there for his father-in-law's birthday. They went to KU to watch a game. Spoke to the team before the game and gave a pep talk. Spent time with other family he has in Kansas and yadda yadda yadda.
to replace Jim Harbaugh as coach. Book it, done.
/s
Well at least his offense won't be boring.
/s
and see what happens at Tennessee. He was pretty damn boring as OC, but I wonder how much of that was Lloyd? Who really opened up the playbook in that last bowl game?
Rich Rodriguez?

Can somebody explain to me the dynamic of Jumpman vs Nike? Is Jumpman just the line of shoes or is it an underling company?
Air Jordans. The Jordan brand.
North Carolina, Marquette and Georgetown are the three major schools that have Jordan.
And Michigan is going to be the 4th.

That doesn't really answer my question. Is Jumpman an independent company now or just a clothing line by Nike? The reason I ask is because it seems unusual that people would make the distinction of saying "Nike for football and other sports. Jumpman for Bball" if that is in fact all Nike.
Yes, it's a brand of Nike.
Just like Reebok is an adidas brand. The Hockey team has been wearing Reebok uniforms the last 4 years even though they're an adidas scool since adidas owns Reebok.
As a hockey guy, this makes sense now.
Unlocked Zoom is one of the best basketball technologies to come out since the airbag in my opinion.
Think Lincoln and Ford.
You can't be from Ohio.
"The "Jumpman" logo is owned by Nike to promote its Michael Jordan-related merchandise, including the well-known and successful Air Jordan brand of basketball shoes. The logo is a silhouette of Michael Jordan performing a dunk."
I had no idea Jumpman was a brand, owned by Nike, etc.
Obviously recognize the Jordan insignia...I'm not THAT old.
I believe Jordan brand is a subsidiary of Nike.
Jordan Brand is a subsidiary company of Nike. Here's more info than you probably ever wanted to know http://news.nike.com/news/inside-access-an-evolving-jordan-brand-continues-to-inspire-the-next-generation
That image is beautiful!
Gotta say, those two logos look pretty good next to each other. I'm excited!
Maybe you remember this guy?
The players still get Twin City socks, though, right?
Right?

tried them after "3 and Out" highlighted the joy they can bring....got that one right.
Not gonna lie, I'd rather we went full Nike than going to Jordan for bball.
Nike owns Jordan. It's the equivalent of using Reebok for hockey when we were with Adidas.
