Bravo
JB should at least call and say "hi." You never know what a recruit is thinking.

Hopefully Sparty fans say some really nasty things to him on Twitter and he decides to get back at them by coming here. Never know.
Maybe for Engineering majors!
except for the whole education thing.
Wow, Purdue though?
His guardian played at Purdue.

they were 12-6 in the B1G this year. I'd never want to live in West Lafayette, but the basketball program isn't really bad, like Rutgers-level bad. They make the tournament occassionally and get some good players. Basil Smotherman couldn't even crack the starting lineup. BASIL SMOTHERMAN!!!
Those Robbie Hummel teams were pretty good during his 10 year career at Purdue.
The Sparty tears it would create by Coach B just getting his name tossed around would be well worth it.
As awesome as it would be to get a 5 star player, it doesn't really make sense to add in another center
Center is the thinnest position on the team though....
Not if you include other recruits that have already accepted scholarship offers.
Or maybe that was a joke about Teske's physique...
... not that He's coming here anyways
I thought there was a general "no religion on the board" rule. Although it would be ... miraculous to have Him play for Michigan.
I'm just trying to lure Him to AA, I think He'd appreciate the respect..
Or my autocorrect has has morphed into AutoCapitalization lately
Those guys won't be on the court for two more years. Center is easily be position of greatest need for this upcoming season. If they fill the open spot this year, do they still have a spot for PG next year? If so, you absolutely take a 5* center for this year. Even if you don't have a spot, I think you take him and ride with a senior Wlaton and MAAR at point in 2016 if you have to.
He also doesn't want to play center, he wants to play a NBA-style power 4 if he can, which might even be part of why he decommitted. Purdue is an enormous team that can use him as a 4. That lineup will be gigantic. If they start, as you'd think, Davis-Stephens-Edwards-Swanigan-Hammons, that's 6'5", 6'6", 6'7", 6'8" 275 lbs, 7'0", with 7'2" Haas coming off the bench.
Are that good? Yeah, it wouldn't make any sense to give some of their minutes to a 5*.
I doubt Swanigan comes here regardless, but I don't think Michigan is in position to turn away 5 star centers. Swanigan would start over Ricky Doyle next year.
2. I think he may still end up at MSU just like McDowell. If he says he only wants to go to MSU he will end up there.
Yes Please
Say aye
Anyone know whether it was because of his dad not liking MSU or another reason?
Maybe he was tired of Izzo yelling at him and throwing him under the bus before he even played a game?
What players does Izzo throw under the bus? I thought he just complained about refs and injuries and his weird guys.
Hey, I'd kick a kitten to transfer to California from MSU. I would kick two kittens to go to Michigan.
While not wanting to go to State because you want to go to Michigan is a scenario we can all understand, there are unfortunately literally dozens of perfectly good reasons this kid wouldn't want to go to State. Terrible player development, mediocre accademics, fans with little brother syndrome (LBS), lousy campus, etc etc etc. The reasons this kid didn't want to go to State could be endless. It would be a huge leal to think the reason he decommitted was he wanted to come to Michigan.
Are you high? I can't even understand what you are trying to say here.
Don't think I would get distracted chasing this guy, he's too swanigan offigan...
