OT- Browser of choice
I've been increasingly surprised at the amount of memory firefox has been using on me and I've been thinking about switching browsers or at least trying out chrome.
Anyone out there used both FF and chrome and have any feedback on compliance of the two of them?
I've heard some good things about chrome in the past but have never taken the leap to try it.

Google Chrome seems like it runs a little bit faster, although I have had problems running it with Windows 7. Personally I like firefox.

I take it you are on a PC as only the developer builds are out for Mac and it is still a little buggy. I used Chrome extensively on a PC and found it to be the best browser for developing and it is very light on the machine, but if you are into all the extensions then FF might be your choice.
Take the leap and use it for a while, I think it is a great browser.
EDIT: Haven't run Chrome on W7 so cannot speak to that point

I have been using Firefox since it was known as Firebird.
I have Chrome on both my laptop and desktop but haven't used it very much.

I am using Chrome and I would personally recommend it. I have had no problems whatsoever with it.

Firefox and Chrome are about the same for me (on Vista still), but I also run CCleaner every so often. I prefer FF because I have my ideal app setup already, but I have friends who love Chrome too.

+1 Firefox'd here. Also Ubuntu'd. I took my Windows install discs and used them as skeet.

I was also a Ubuntu user until a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate fell into my lap. As much as I hate to say it, Microsoft won my heart with this OS.

Chrome and Firefox for me. I use Chrome for the google apps (reader/ gmail/ stocks/ wave) and Firefox with IE tabs for the rest. Chrome work like garbage behind the firewall at my work and we have extensive Intranet apps that have to run through IE, hence the FF usage.

I like the Bowser from Super Mario World the best. That is all.

Chrome is pretty fast, and I like it for just browsing the web. FF has a bit more functionality, but I agree it can eat up resources quickly. Every try Opera? I like it as a solid all-around browser, and doesn't seem to be as much of a hog as FF. If you are running any of the browsers on Windows 7, though, you'll be surprised how much smoother they run as compared to XP or (especially) Vista.

I've been running Chrome on 7 and haven't had any issues. Very snappy for the most part. I'll bring up IE or Firefox if I have problems with specific plugins or something like that, but those instances are getting to be few and far between.

in May just to try it out, and have never gone back to anything else.
Only issues I've had are not recognizeing websites sometimes, but they may be a computer of service provider issue.
Otherwise its great.

for all the input.
I'm trying chrome right now and it does seem quite a bit faster than FF is.
No add-ons, but a nice basic browser.

I'm primarily a mac user, but have installed Chrome on several Windows machines around the home and office. I have yet to hear any real complaints from family or employees. Fast and light.

Firefox.
It may not be quite as fast as Chrome, but the extensions more than make up for it. I know that Chrome does support some add-ons, but the sheer number and quality of the ones available for Firefox make it king in my book.
