CC: Harbaugh, Miles and . . . Stitt?

Submitted by michgoblue on

For those of you looking for your daily fix of CC non-information to latch onto, per a tweet from Baumgardner, Michigan's new AD just started "following" the following coaches on Twitter:  Harbaugh, Miles, Holgorsen and . . . Bob Stitt.

Here's thw tweet:

The Ann Arbor News@annarbornews34 secs35 seconds ago

RT @nickbaumgardner: Twitter's something, folks ... Michigan's AD just followed Jim Harbaugh, Les Miles, Bob Stitt and Dana Holgorsen.

Obviously, this means absolutely nothing, as I very much doubt that our new AD is going to be conducting his super-secret coaching search via twitter.

However, the randomness of Stitt leads me to another possibility:  could our new AD be a member (or follower) of MGoBlog, or have someone in his office who is?  It would be absolutely awesome if this is the case and he did this just to screw around with all of us.

Brian, you pretty much sealed the deal on Brandon.  Now you need to make this whole Harbaugh thing happen, ok big guy?

We need Wolverine Devotee to post a grainy picture of an email alledgedly from Jim Harbaugh saying he's coming to Michigan just as soon as the NFL season is over.  Then we just sit back and let the magic happen.

Shame that it's fake.  If the AD were even aware of Bob Stitt that would be a positive sign considering that the last guy (Brandon) seemed pretty unwilling to even look at innovative guys at lower levels.

Not that Stitt would be high on my list for head coach or that I'd want the AD hiring our coordinators, but it would be a good sign that Hackett is at least willing to cast a wide net and consider many options.

Casting such a wide net would indicate to me a lack of confidence in getting the top choices and an inclination to be cheap. Of course, it had to be fake. We're not going to have job searches done using Twitter. They'll be done in secret.

knowledgeable about college coaches is a plus. The problem is that there is only one way to judge someone like Stitt as a HC candidate. That is as a huge gamble. Michigan can't afford that, especially now.

I want our AD to keep an open mind about style of play and Michigan connections. I don't want him to have an open mind about hiring someone without a strong track record at a high level. I don't want him to think that there's any advantage to getting someone cheap. There's a good middle ground between limiting your search to two or three names and casting a wide net down to Div. 2.

Rhonda Jones will probably leave early today but not too sure if I'll make a decision about whether or not I understand the concept of knowledge management software or hardware support for Christmas trees in Hawaii

Rhonda Jones will be able to make some pie for the Michigan game to see what happens if the symptoms caused by your grandma will have a lot more specific information provided that you don't mind cleaning dogs and Lauren Conrad and Ferguson said she doesn't seem angry about that Shit right away.

When I win the lottery next week I am going to buy a private jet, paint it maize and blue and fly all over the country. The threads on here will be epic.

Sidenote: I really think that if the next Michigan coach pursued Bob Stitt as an OC he would probably take the job because Michigan OC>>>D2 HC. Chuck Martin went from GVSU HC to ND OC.

Hopes and dreams created and dashed in 140 characters or less. When Bo was hired it was just announced. Some guy with a funny name from Ohio (sorry end of story I've run out of characters).
