Which equates to about 15-20 in the nation this year and that may be being generous.

If OSU wins out and the upsets keep happening, and the SEC eats their young, as they often do, who knows...
October 18th, 2014 at 5:05 PM ^
Defintely possible, but I mean 15-20th best team in the country, not odds of making the playoff.
Although that 14 point loss at home to a bad VT team is going to haunt them. Its really hard to overlook a bad loss like that.

Even though I think that NOW, there would be no way in hell that VaTech would pull that win off in Columbus, the fact is, it did happen.

No argument here.

Don't know if anyone noticed, but the autoplay on the first page has been removed.
My apologies. Totally forgot ESPN doesn't allow you to take it off (or at least I'm not smart enough to know how).
As I mentioned, I posted the Michigan "My Wish" at the beginning of the year and forgot we had the same issue.
Noted. Back to a great afternoon of college footbaw!

You have my forgiveness.

Did I just hear that "Purdue is a good team" on ESPN?

I wonder if someone has firesumlin.com up and running yet.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:05 PM ^
TAMU made it's bed. Lay.
They'll be back when he gets another elite QB, but they'll still lose 2-3 games a year and win a Heisman trophy.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:09 PM ^
In the SEC west they could be down for a while. I can't remember a team that is suppose to be pretty good going down 38-0 in the first half.

firekevinsumlin.com was created when he was hired. There's nothing there but a backdrop of flames and...

Preparing for the inevitable!!
As Texas A&M is venturing into the new era of SEC football, the university and the current and former students deserve a coach that can take ATM to its full potential to win the SEC.

"Purdue is a really good team." ESPN 'expert' commentator. If you put the names of MGOBlog posters in a hat and picked one your likely to find a more informed commentator.

This is why i get scared of new coaching candidates who have a special QB - I'd like to see them without that special QB. And here is Kevin Sumlin.

Not this badly and on national TV it surely does not. Not even close.

Good point. Nate Davis helped a certain Ball State State coach go 12-1 in 2008 as well.

Mullen had Tebow, Newton, Alex Smith, Prescott...He was even a GA when McNabb was at Syracuse, lol.
So while he may be dependent on a QB, he clearly can identify and GET his guy.
Really, it's those 4 or bust for me. I'm really excited to watch UK tonight. Weird.

Joey Bosa reminds me of JJ Watt.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:11 PM ^
Said he's JJ Watt and a better version in college.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:14 PM ^
JJ Watt was a VERY good college player but not the same JJ Watt we see in the NFL. Sort of like Levy for the Lions.
Bosa as a freshman and sophomore is sick. If he continues to progress as a junior he will be scary. Could see him top 3 overall in 2016 draft.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:26 PM ^
"Joey Bosa is JJ Watt, only faster" - Fred Jackson.

Bad week of games in total really. FSU hammering ND should be fun and Oregon/Washington might be intersting.

You feel dirty watching it. Like when you watch a car wreck or something horrifying on the news.

Indiana QB 2/7 for 6 yards. As expected.

Alabama was trying to STALL, they didn't even run a 2-minute drill.
They still scored.
