Some guy on the internet claims he has a source: Morris to start at QB; Gardner to start at WR
Some guy on reddit claims he has a family member inside who says Morris will start, and Gardner has been taking reps at WR. Never believe anything you see on the internet, and all that, but thought I'd pass it along in case anyone is interested.

for fuck sakes! Enough already.

I know we're all getting tired of this kind of speculation.... but.... my spidey sense is tingling on this one, to be honest. What he posted accounts for some of the oddities we've seen with DG, tempo, and the OL.... and it's not like we've got anything better to do.
Won't be long until we know whether this guy is full of it.

We'll all know in 2 days no matter what. I can hang in there until then.

If it proves true that the OL's problem is Glasgow's conditioning, then between that, the DUI this summer, and what's been happening on the defensive line this fall, there's no doubt that I have a new favorite Glasgow.

Enough with the Harbaugh speculation. We know Mrs. Miles is in town today being shown around by a real estate agent.
September 25th, 2014 at 5:18 PM ^
Let's not start any rumors like that.

You're both wrong. Gruden was in Ann Arbor looking at real estate.
September 25th, 2014 at 6:01 PM ^
With the wife of Les Miles or Jim Harbaugh?
September 25th, 2014 at 6:40 PM ^
Les Miles was in town with Mrs. Harbaugh.
September 25th, 2014 at 7:23 PM ^
Les Miles should be a bit worried about Jon Gruden looking at Ann Arbor real estate with Mrs. Miles.

Is Jerry still there or has he retired?

Do something, anything to stop the bleeding.
September 25th, 2014 at 5:16 PM ^
Agreed. I think Devin showed a lot of potential at WR. Morris should provide a change of pace.
September 25th, 2014 at 6:33 PM ^
That way, when Morris gets injured against Indiana we can rely on Bellomy to come in and pull out the game.
September 25th, 2014 at 10:53 PM ^
We can rely not only on Bellomy, but also Hoke's QB recruit from the 2012 class. He's a true junior by this point, right?
September 25th, 2014 at 4:56 PM ^
Coach Kill for Minnesota said that his team was preparing for just this...so it's clearly not far-fetched.
That said, I think we should refrain from posting every internet rumor. If it's an internet rumor that comes from a credible source or a public/popular domain like ESPN...I'm all for it.
But as you said "some guy on the internet" is the source of this one, IMO, we need more than just "some guy on the internet."
If it's Sam Webb or the 24/7 guys or anyone who has a valued opinion, a rumor is cool. But "some guy?" that could just be an OSU or MSU fan fucking with everyone.
September 25th, 2014 at 5:03 PM ^
"And that's who we have to prepare for. I know that others make conversation about that and I know if he didn't play quarterback, he's going to play wide receiver. He's going to get touches. You've got to prepare for him like you always have offensively. You just can't change in one week. They're not going to change. They may move Gardner around, they may play both, but we've just got to prepare for what we see. And if we need to make adjustments and we see somebody different, we will. But again, you can't prepare for a ghost."
...so now it's easy to see where "some guy" could make some shit up. It's not as farfetched as some people think if the opposing coach is preparing for it...and this was before any rumors. This was his Monday presser.

Bellomy to start at the opposite receiver to be a part of a triple pass, fushion cuisine.
September 25th, 2014 at 5:16 PM ^
It seems more likely they would both throw INT's than what you said.

I'm well aware of what your intentions were. I was merely joking at your sarcasm.
Obviously they can't both throw an interception...

If it really is you, it would be easy to figure out. It says your hometown is Evansville, IN. Mine too, so it would be cool if it really was. Just saying, I would believe you if you could answer a few questions where as others might not.

I think there is also a similar reference in Braveheart ( I am William Wallace), so you are not totaly offbase, but I was quoting from Spartacus.

Actually, if it's an arm injury affecting his throwing (as was the case for Denard), a position switch would make sense.

DG might have done further damage than assumed when he continued to play after breaking his foot. There are concerns he injured the nerves in the first quarter of the ND game, he has problems planting his left foot and driving off of it.
That could explain all the wonky looking jump passes.
