Time to give Morris a series, DG not moved the offense since first drive. Not to bench him, just mix things up for Utah and let him stand next to Nuss and get some in game coaching.

gardner is a good kid but he is flat out terrible. you are better off running him more than have him drop back and pass at this point.

Gardner has no confidence, no mechanics, and is missing open receivers almost every time he drops back. I hate to be dramatic but we have to see if shane can give us something more

Well, my attitude about this game has been a rollercoaster, but the one thing i can say about what i consisntely am getting frustrated with is watching funchess get hung out to dry... The kid has a bright future as an NFL prospect and it seems like he might just get hammered to the point of being a walking injury before he even gets there. It's really bugging me that the gameplan is "try to win the game by letting funchess get smoked"

Gardner as a QB... That's another thing, I think most of his fallacies stem from the hits he's taken while giving it everything he has. He gets terrible now when things get ugly and desperation hits.... and I'm not sure I can blame him one bit.

.... Gardner isn't good. I'm glad other people on this board are seeing it.  Brian can do his UFR and come up with his reasons why it's not Devin's fault, but I'm just not buying it.  He has a slow release, slow decision making, never checks down, and panics under the slightest pressure.  I think he's a great role model and spokesperson for the team.  I think he's gotten a raw deal with his coaching and position changes.  I wish him nothing but the best in life.  And I hope he turns it around.  All that said, he is not going to lead this team to anything other than a .500 season.
