About damn time.
Love your Browns' draft thus far. At least the organization and its fans have something to cheer for. It has been awhile since that's happened.
Ok.
I believe in Johnny Football and you should too. We're on our way up, man.
Just relax and drink the Kool-Aid.
but he is raw. Manziel is short, lacking in fundamentals, and there are maturity concerns. The Browns are rolling the dice with these two picks, but you got to risk something to gain something.
Cleveland...the new ESPN darling? What???
get a cleavland steamer than have to start his NFL career with the Browns.
You've been very naughty, but Johnny Football with a Cleveland steamer ought to be worth a ticket out of Bolivia.
were picked #22 by different GM's.
We'll see how this goes. Cleveland is like a QB graveyard.
Derek Carr to Cards?
Probably take TE if it is on offense.
Personally, I'd sit tight and get Jordan Matthews if you want a WR that bad.
Well not in round 2. I think in 4 when they have 3 picks...
Personally, I think they should go DB, LB, WR, C, DB, DL, QB
He and Talib are going to be a knucklehead match made in heaven.
"I's seen'a many'a football playa...workout warrior...and you, and you get them own the field n they caint bussa grape!"
lol, this guy gets paid to speak for a living.
Sucks to be you.
Only four big ten players taken in the first round
But yeah, its still pathetic.
...still work a trade for Mallett
2 - LaMarcus Joyner (FSU) (CB/S)
3 - Christians Jones (FSU) or Adrian Hubbard (Bama) (OLB)
4 - L'Damian Washington (Mizzou) or Jared Abberderis (Wis) or Martavious Bryant (Clem) (WR)
4 - Bryan Stork (FSU) or Gabe Ikard (Okla) (C)
4 - Michael Schofield (Mich) (OG/OT)
6 - Will Sutton (ASU) (DT)
7 - Hakeem Smith (L'ville) (S)
People keep talking about a CB, but what the Lions really need is a safety. The Lions have Houston, Slay, and Bentley. Slay and Bentley were 2nd and 3rd round picks. Slay just complete his rookie seaosn. Why people think a rookie CB would be better than a 2nd year guy with comparable talent I don't know. I'd go S, OLB/DE, WR, C, DL.
I love to get Abberdaris.I think he will have a solid career as a third receiver. Great hands and good enough athleticism.
Thats why I like his versatility.
He'd be a nice NB as well.
But the Lions don't have a 5th round pick and I like his versatility for a team like Detroit. They really could use a guy who can play 4 out of the 5 positions on the line as a 6th OL.
I do think 4th round is a reach, but they have 3 of them, but that's why I had him as the last of the 4th rounders.
Preferably, I'd have them trade back into the 5th round and get him, but I can't predict that.
... but I don't know what the Bills were thinking. They're a bad team which just traded away their cheapest and fastest way to get better.
Watkins could be Megatron-lite and they'd still be bad because no one could get him the ball. Oh, wait, that's Larry Fitzgerald ...
