FU-K!
That's the best they could do? Why didn't we have those extra few seconds?
I just don't like that decision, but what a fucking game
Is Kentucky going to foul here since Wisconsin isn't shooting? They can run precious time off.
EDIT: nevermind, I see they are in the bonus.
FUCK YOU BO RYAN FOR THAT SHITTIER BEYOND SHIT LAST PLAY. YOUR COACHING SUCKS.
NOOOOOO
Fuck you Kentucky you bastards. Jackson should have kept driving.
Wow. Just wow.
if they could feel the passion for them in all 49 fucking states
About 1.3% of the US population lives in Kentucky, and some of those are Louisville fans. It's kind of annoying that if Kentucky loses, the players won't even care because they're just passing through for one season on the way to the NBA.
the world is evil.
I will be pissed off if Kentucky wins.
2014 NCAA Champions - REDACTED
So this season is going to end with two cheating programs that didn't even have good regular seasons playing for the national title.
I love college basketball and all, but I hate college basketball.
I'm one of the few for sure, but I think the tournament should be much smaller. Make the NIT a 64 team field. Make the NCAA tournament into a true championship tournament with only teams that had very good regular seasons. 16 teams at the absolute most. That's just me and everyone else disagrees, I'm sure.
with no great teams anymore, stuff is going to happen.
But no, I could never give up the madness.
but even the most die-hard believers still know how fun thr 64/68 team tournament is. The 5-12 upset, the cinderella to the Sweet 16, the rare 2-15 upset. It's just too good to give up.
And no way in hell will the NCAA ever let all that money slip out of their grasp
Please have one more ridiculous game in you, Huskies.
Frankly I'm sick of the bullsh!t that the NCAA has become. They swing the game 10 points to the favorites with their crappy calls. There is no flowing basketball anymore. Had this game been called fairly Wisconsin wins by 10. Heck, we would have won by 5 over them too. Total favoritism.
I kinda agree, the refs have been fucking over every team that UK plays. It's total bullshit, the worst part is they still get out played every game for 39.5 minutes.
Um, UConn . . . don't let him have that shot at the end of the game.
K. Thx.
Obviously Bo Ryan isn't and MGoBlog reader or he would have known to foul Dakari Johnson on UK's last possesion.
is the intentional if he doesn't have the ball, but it's a nice wish.
If Harrison has the ball at the end of the game foul someone, anyone but get the ball out of his hands even if they call an intentional foul.
that is one of the better games I've seen in a while.
I hate everything this Kentucky team stands for, but man, they have been involved in what, three flat out classics, and one almost classic (against Louisville)?
We played them a great game, Wisky played them a great game, and that Wichita State game was off the hook.
Wisky deserved to lose. Kaminsky hardly touched the ball all game and when they fed him he did well and/or opened up other stuff. Jackson was off all game and Wisky's most consistent stretch was in the 1st half and he was on the bench. Bo Ryan looked like he got out coached but at the same time given how the game was reffed I guess that's easy to say.
dammit.
That kid is already unstoppable.
Except when it really counts.
As much as I am not a KY lover, I thought they took Wiscy's 3 point shooting off the table in the second half as well as taking Kaminsky out of the game.
will not watch
hey, we roll it all on the Huskies.
but i like kentucky. their team's mere existence (let alone the fact that they're likely to win another championship) is a huge middle finger to the NCAA.
The problem is it's also a huge middle finger to guys like John Beilein.
and not even because they beat us, but because they play a disgusting brand of rugby basketball. This team is a middle finger to beautiful basketball. The brow squad, however, was fun to watch.
It's not like Michigan is graduating our best players. Hell, 4/5 of this year's starting line-up will probably go pro before earning a degree.
By birding the NCAA, I wasn't referring to recruiting violations, I was referring to the myth of student-athletes.
that was such an intense game.
but I just don't know if they have enough bigs with actual strength to have a chance at holding up against these guys.
Why we hate Kentucky:
". . . Randle and the Harrisons shared a rich AAU history. Randle was the prize of the Texas Titans, a Dallas-based club that was funded by Kenny Troutt, a team parent and telecom billionaire; they traveled to tournaments like an NBA team in private planes with deluxe accommodations."
As high school kids. Yeah, I'm sure they are attending classes in backpacks and eating cold pizza for lunch with the other students as One-And-Done's at Kentucky. Those fuckers never even see the inside of a classroom.
All that is wrong with College Basketball.
