Aaron Craft Appreciation Thread
#11 seed Dayton upsets Ohio State to end Aaron Craft's career. Gritty career. Or as Verne called him, angelic.
Craft's fault that announcers slobber all over him like he's a naked Kate Upton playing basektball, but we can all be thankful we never have to listen to any of them call a game with Arron Craft in it ever again.
We would have loved him if he'd played for Michigan. It wasn't his fault that announcers over-hyped him.
Isn't there some unwritten rule that you can't be in Dayton and defend Aaron Craft right now?
He was a competitor, yes. He was no different than any other meh shooter that played tough defense.
Quality kid that is getting grief from the real scum - OSU rednecks "fans". Very happy OSU is out but I feel for the kid. Also very hapy we didn't get Amir Williams.
He has/had become the Tebow of college basketball....without the accomplishments at the college level.
Aaron Craft is gone
Had too much faith in his shot
Glad to see him go
I certainly appreciate the fact that he's gone!
Personally I was impressed with the growth in Craft the last week. He was able to hoist his last second shot far in advance of the 2 feet he was able to vs Michigan. People, admit it - that is incredible week to week advancement in strength.
Is he retiring finally? I think he has a good 3 years left in him yet.
I would have been pretty pissed about the non call on his like 5 steps, and that he lowered his shouler to try bowling over 3 defenders with neither called.
OMFG I hate that son of a bitch so much.
I feel like this nicely makes up for us losing to Ohio (the green one) in the 1st round a few years back.
One of those guys that you absolutely dread playing. Class act, great defensive player, and a good representative of his university. Glad he's gone, but only because he was a very tough opponent. Hope he succeeds in whatever he does next.
I'll miss those rosey cheeks.

Is it just me or did his offensive game decline year after year? He was never great offensive player, but I don't remember thinking that he was this terrible when he was a sophomore.
So do we get to give them back all of the crap we took when we lost to Ohio, or what?
I couldn't be happier that Craft's career ended with those last 2 games.
It's the same thing as Tebow, I have nothing against him personally, the media reaction to him made me hate him.
Craft by all media accounts in the smartest PG who ever lived regardless that he couldn't even crack 5 assists per game when when surrounded by superior talent in college.
aren't burke and sullinger friends?
They are like brothers.
I don't have anything against him personally. He is a good student and probably a good guy and I appreciate the effort he brought to the floor. That said, he is not half the player that the media makes him out to be and watching him shoot a jump shot is incredibly funny. I also don't like that he got away with so much hand checking and everyone just called it good defense.
I'm not sorry he is gone and I'm definitely not sorry that his career ended like that. Long live the Aarball gifs.
said something about not having the love anymore
...right before Sanford hit that shot. "If you want a student athlete, he's your man."
Didn't make the ending of that game any less hilarious, though. Way to go UD!
But that last gif is pretty funny. Maybe he thought he was playing football.
We haven't seen a Tommy Amaker Appreciation Thread yet.
so according to ESPN.. over 3 million (espn tournament challenge entrants) people picked Dayton over ohio. how come i didn't get that memo?
opps.. spoke too soon. that is my rank after cincy being knocked off by harvard. what's up with the state of ohio college athletics this week?
