Hey you guys, I had a dream last night that Michigan was playing in the National Championship game as the favorite.

What a dream.

My wife is a teacher whose first day back after Christmas was today. She wasn't dressed properly, so I had to send her back to her room to change into something with a block M on it.

We all gotta bang!

This is the very best Monday to ever happen. I'm so excited, but so nervous! Rocking my favorite hoodie today against dress code and I've already gotten a ton of go blues.

This has been surreal. My two grad schools are the two best football schools in the land. (Undergrad? No so good, 2-10. You can't ask for everything I guess.)

The week I got accepted into a program at Washington in 2012, I ran into Phil Brabbs in my church in Ann Arbor. We had a laugh over my "defection to the enemy," the one he's remembered for beating.

But in truth these things stack chronologically, and Michigan will always be my second team with UW third. Anyway UW grad students don't really follow football. In a 3 semester master's at Michigan I went to more games than 6 years at UW. So no doubt who I'm cheering for even though I'm proud of both of them and maybe glad to have the freeroll.

Just saw an ESPN article about how the majority of ESPN commentators/reporters picked Washington to beat us. Hopefully the players see it and get salty! GO BLUE! BRING IT HOME BOYS! TEAM OF DESTINY!

My son and I went to the Rose Bowl.

Michigan won.

Last night my son found us in the telecast. (Bama FG right before the half.)

My son and I (...and Spartan wife and Spartan daughter...that which does not kill you...) will be watching tonight.

Michigan will win.

That's just science.

GO BLUE.

My car was towed (I stupidly left it on the street despite knowing a snowstorm was coming) and I just had to pay $344 to get it out of the impound lot, plus I still owe the ticket. But who cares, Michigan is about to win the national championship in football!

Go Blue.

I normally avoid live viewing of games that make me too nervous and do not match my time zone. This will be an exception as will all of my family's lives (gonna wake up young kids at 1:30 am on a school night to watch).

It's a generational game. I was in middle school when we last had this chance. I don't want them to miss after years of following our team.

Go blue and to memories.

One of these days I'll see Michigan win a major championship right? I think since I became a fan I'm

0/2 Basketball
0/1 Hockey
0/1 Baseball
0/1 Softball

With football and hockey losing several other semifinal and de facto semifinal games. Maybe today's the day

A great little recent PG film called Boys In The Boat (book about 10 years old, all based on a true story) is enough recent glory for the Washington Huskies.  It's Michigan's time.

With all due respect to a fine opponent in UW, just go ahead get the fuck out of the way - this championship comes home to Ann Arbor.

Bang me.  Gently.   Not too gentle.  Like you mean it.  Give it to me.

Sitting in my hotel in Houston full of nervous energy.  Hopefully our players are more relaxed than I am. I could hardly sleep last night.  I want this win so badly, but I’m also insanely proud of this team no matter what happens.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, tonight is the biggest game in the modern football era for Michigan football.  Not even 1998 was as big.  Tonight's game is for the undisputed national championship!  It's bigger than any game I've witnessed since my Michigan fandom began in the mid 70's.  So, everyone enjoy this historic night and GO BLUE!!!!
