Just when you thought it couldn't get weirder........ Is that Stalions on the CMU sidelines?
Central played at State on the Friday night before Michigan's opener with East Carolina. Is this Connor Stalions on the Central sidelines, credentialed, and wearing Central gear?
He's at the game studying signs for future reference?
Is this our beloved Connor with a wig? Video:
Video:
Maybe it's not him. But the debate is raging. Is it him?
Sooooo, if it is him, how is it he's wearing Central gear on the Central sidelines? How does that happen? Seems odd.
But hey, maybe it's not him.
I think I speak for a lot of people right now:

Are you sure you're not thinking of Lord Catamaran?
October 31st, 2023 at 6:16 AM ^
Ok, yeah, I fucking hate this kid. No chance in hell any coach would actually risk their careers authorizing something like this.
Is there even a specific rule against this because it's so insane they didn't think to write one?
October 31st, 2023 at 12:28 PM ^
It’s in person scouting. The one thing he had been avoiding by hiring 3rd parties. It’s illegal.
October 31st, 2023 at 1:01 PM ^
I was being facetious
October 31st, 2023 at 6:21 AM ^
SirYacht is instaban.
October 31st, 2023 at 6:23 AM ^
Maybe? But it looks like he has hair in that second pic, is that a wig? Man this guy is dumb and ballsy.
October 31st, 2023 at 6:46 AM ^
(Unmoderated) social media was a mistake.
October 31st, 2023 at 6:46 AM ^
My first reaction was no way is Connor that stupid, but Brian tweeted it is Connor
Stallions is a moron to end all moronsyes, this is Stalions
— mgoblog (@mgoblog) October 31, 2023
no, Michigan didn't know
no, CMU didn't know
dude got a sideline pass, arrived in full CMU coaching gear, and snuck into the restricted area pic.twitter.com/64Zf97wETo
October 31st, 2023 at 6:57 AM ^
He has probably already known this and may have already verified it. This one will probably get ugly.
October 31st, 2023 at 7:26 AM ^
It is already ugly. But at least it is clear why 1) the school is going with “loan wolf” instead of “grey area” and 2) why MSU was told and was (rightly) pissed before our game there.
In the long game though this helps Michigan because nobody on staff knew this kid was this nuts.
He should be fired now though.
October 31st, 2023 at 7:55 AM ^
I borrowed money from a "loan wolf" once. Never again.
October 31st, 2023 at 8:18 AM ^
Just stay away from those loan sharks. Their bite is worse than their bark.
October 31st, 2023 at 11:47 AM ^
How does one just "get" a sideline pass, even at CMU?
October 31st, 2023 at 6:47 AM ^
Fire Stalions into the sun.
October 31st, 2023 at 6:51 AM ^
Isaiah Hole did say there were other things that were going to come out this week? Could this be one of them??
Stallions is an idiot, but this doesn’t break any NCAA rules, him sneaking onto the sidelines.
October 31st, 2023 at 6:56 AM ^
I actually think this is the worst thing Stallions has done yet as this would pretty clearly count as 'in person scouting' by a Michigan staffer.
October 31st, 2023 at 7:42 AM ^
I'm glad everyone is so certain this is him. Because this board has definitely never been wrong before, and over-reacted to said wrongness.
October 31st, 2023 at 8:05 AM ^
It looks exactly like him and the dude has sunglasses on for a night game. And we’re dealing with a “manifesto-guy” here. This is pretty clearly Stalions.
It is what it is. There was a rule violation. But nobody from the Michigan staff told this guy to buy a CMU costume and go scout a shitty MSU team on the sideline, just like nobody from Michigan told him to get friends to record shitty iPhone video.
Yes, this makes Michigan look ridiculous for a moment and there will be a meme or two, but as to the nuts and bolts this is a good development. Stalions was a nut and went rogue. At its core this is a Connor Stalions thing, not a Michigan thing.
October 31st, 2023 at 10:06 AM ^
unfortunately for CS, michigan+manifesto+sunglasses=
October 31st, 2023 at 12:30 PM ^
Brian has confirmation and I’m assuming it’s verifiable. But we can hope and pray.
October 31st, 2023 at 6:59 AM ^
I'm pretty sure him being at a game of a future opponent as a member of the staff is one of the few definitively against-the-rules actions he's been proven to take so far. The use of the third parties was grey area, him being there himself is not. As I understand those rules, I'm as new to this as almost everyone else who had no awareness of these regulations until 2 weeks ago.
October 31st, 2023 at 11:49 AM ^
Correct. This is not a grey area. And if he is disguising himself, he knew the rule and knew he was breaking it.
October 31st, 2023 at 12:16 PM ^
Well, at least we are getting to the point where it feels like he was taking active steps to hide this from his superiors.
October 31st, 2023 at 6:58 AM ^
I think it's fair to say he's a covert cmu assistant at this point and all games he went to go see were for cmu and not Michigan.
October 31st, 2023 at 6:58 AM ^
This just furthers the rogue actor theory.
October 31st, 2023 at 6:59 AM ^
Ok this is clearly about one person who lost their mind.
That being said, this does elevate this to something that was actually a pretty big deal and I have no idea how it ends now.
(Edit - a “big deal” for Stalions, a smaller deal for Michigan).
October 31st, 2023 at 8:13 AM ^
It changes almost nothing assuming no one at Michigan higher up than Stalions knew anything about this.
Honestly, I don't think this is going to matter much. People are comparing this to Tressel, what they forget is that what got Tressel fired is the fact that he lied about knowing about what was going on with his players. In this case, it genuinely seems like no one at Michigan had any idea what this guy was doing and its plausible because he seems like an irrational actor doing all this on his own time and on his own dime.
October 31st, 2023 at 7:02 AM ^
"You white people all look the same to me."
October 31st, 2023 at 7:08 AM ^
I once saw an episode of Black Mirror that showed a picture of a guy who looked like Stalions looking at a picture of a guy who looked like him. He thought it was Dylan McCaffrey, but it was a recently graduated former walk-on quarterback.
October 31st, 2023 at 8:06 AM ^
I will call myself out and say that I was convinced that it was McCaffrey on the sidelines (I don’t remember which game it was)…. then I saw the same guy again with JJ at MSU and he looked nothing like him.
This is even dumber than that.
October 31st, 2023 at 7:16 AM ^
Trick or Treat! This is the perfect news to drop on Halloween. This is unreal. I hope Stalions quickly goes from suspended with pay to terminated.
This is a good development in the rogue actor theory. The staff believed he was getting all his intel from film study, but was actually sneaking onto other team’s sidelines. No coach can be held responsible for this. I’d put this in the same category as Kirby Smart not knowing about the reckless, misdemeanor (borderline felony) level drag racing activity in his program that actually cost someone their life.
October 31st, 2023 at 7:18 AM ^
So it’s becoming more obvious this was a one (crazy) man operation. How does Michigan prove this? Conner needs to just say fuck it, and release a statement saying he did it all on his own.
October 31st, 2023 at 7:18 AM ^
Is this even any more formally illegal than just being in the stands, which everyone assumed was coming at some point? It’s substantially more ridiculous and brazen, but that is just further evidence that no higher up was involved
October 31st, 2023 at 7:20 AM ^
It's literally not him. Stalions has been and is bald for all of recent pictures and memory. This dude has a full head of hair which you can see in the picture that's being passed round
October 31st, 2023 at 8:22 AM ^
That staff photo doesn't show his goatee though, so it's safe to assume he grew his hair out.
October 31st, 2023 at 10:01 AM ^
LOL. This is an insane discussion.
The only thing I'm certain is that the ESPN has already commenced the production of 30 for 30 on Connor "the dumbass" Stalions who now lives in Bolivia.
October 31st, 2023 at 5:30 PM ^
Do you know how hats work?
October 31st, 2023 at 7:26 AM ^
Pretty sure it's this guy.
October 31st, 2023 at 7:38 AM ^
So who is wrong?? Brian confirmed it was stallions.
October 31st, 2023 at 7:45 AM ^
There is a chance that Brian is simply incorrect. But I assume he has a source.
October 31st, 2023 at 7:55 AM ^
Agree. Brian probably has a reason for stating that it is CS in the photo, when (if you only have the photo itself as evidence) it is definitely not that obvious. Given what a doofus CS is, I'm assuming he has social media post metadata from GPS coordinates near East Lansing, or some other pretty obvious digital breadcrumb placing him at the game.
October 31st, 2023 at 10:05 AM ^
Brian seemed to state with no wiggle room that it is Stallions. Not might be or could be. I assume this means someone in the know told him it was Stallions
October 31st, 2023 at 11:01 AM ^
I wish it was him, but according to his LinkedIn this Brandon Hintz works in Tech Support for a company in Las Vegas.
This is what the CMU GA looks like:
October 31st, 2023 at 11:04 AM ^
And the Brandon in the first picture is clearly not the guy on the sidelines. For starters, ears are completely different shapes.
October 31st, 2023 at 7:38 AM ^
Yep, you just want it to stop. So you posted this trash. Cool buddy.
October 31st, 2023 at 7:45 AM ^
So... They'll ban Michigan for 1000 years and then the NCAA will have a bidding war for his services between all the SEC schools? K
October 31st, 2023 at 8:12 AM ^
They aren’t banning Michigan from anything. This is an action so ridiculous that Michigan is going to point to it and say “seriously?”
This guy has issues and probably needs some help. At a minimum this is some pretty kicking OCD with strong notes of some other stuff. To take things this far and not stop at any point and recover some self-awareness and abort is alarming.
October 31st, 2023 at 12:33 PM ^
The kid is highly ambitious.
