Sexual Butt person jostling... we can have fun with some commas here. Let's eat grandma.
December 24th, 2022 at 9:56 PM ^
That’s fine, but if your Uncle Jack needs help getting off his horse, you’re on your own.

"Person-Jostling"
Is the tunnel guilty of seduction now?
December 25th, 2022 at 7:37 AM ^
Induction.
December 24th, 2022 at 7:59 PM ^
Windmon comin back next year for sparty
December 24th, 2022 at 8:13 PM ^
Not surprised. He had good games against Western, Akron, And Wisconsin and nobody else.
December 24th, 2022 at 8:01 PM ^
Sounds reasonable. Time to put the tunnel incident to bed.
December 24th, 2022 at 8:05 PM ^
Except this is Sparty you're talking about. It will never be put to bed. It will be added to the inventory of slights, perceived and real, right next to "little brother".
December 24th, 2022 at 8:34 PM ^
Exactly. I'm certain getting assaulted by a helmet to the head won't effect his sleep quality. This is just one of the many steps In the wrong direction post-incident. It obviously won't be the last.
A quote from George Green (Gemon's father) from a Detroit News article in Nov.:
"I ain't slept. Didn't sleep none Saturday. Tried to close my eyes (Sunday) night. All I could see were helmets being swung at my son, trying to harm my son, and I couldn't do nothing to protect him."
But think of poor Mr. Grump's (sic) future!

The apostrophe is on the right side of the keyboard, next to the enter key. It isn't the backtick, which is the key next to the 1 key.
December 24th, 2022 at 9:53 PM ^
You're right, thanks (although symbols on my keyboard are accessed through a symbol page, not the main keyboard).
Edit: on my phone.
December 25th, 2022 at 1:39 AM ^
You’re right, and who cares. Let them keep circle jerking til their hands fall off, we don’t care anymore. Got bigger fish to fry

Blue Wall
December 25th, 2022 at 10:52 AM ^
Exactly, most Michigan fans seem to be over it and just want these kids to learn their lesson, but Sparty player and fans still seem to think they were somehow wronged by charges being filed, they did nothing wrong, and want to use it as motivation. Their inferiority complex is so deep that facing consequences for their own actions is further fuel to hate us more
December 25th, 2022 at 11:32 AM ^
I can care less of what Sparty fans think. For Sparty players, I will give them the benefit of doubt for now.
December 25th, 2022 at 12:48 AM ^
I'm OK with putting the tunnel incident to bed. What I'm not OK with is the reports from John U Bacon about sideline personnel who heard the coaching staff for MSU encourage their players to purposefully hurt JJ and Blake. If that's their attitude when we play them next year, are we going to have some intentional injuries of our key players?
December 25th, 2022 at 1:34 AM ^
Exactly, it's not put to bed until MSU changes their culture and reduces their dislike for UM to sane levels. They have done nothing to indicate that is the case so yeah I would be worried about the safety of UM players every time they see these guys.
December 25th, 2022 at 10:54 AM ^
But but but a few MSU players have said that's not true and they're above that! /s
December 24th, 2022 at 8:10 PM ^
Tunnel gets off Scott free. Sparty feels disrespected
December 24th, 2022 at 8:17 PM ^
"Aside from Crump, all players suspended from the team following the incident were since reinstated."
Great accountability there. But what you would expect?
December 24th, 2022 at 8:30 PM ^
I mean, it’s not apples to apples but we have a player being sentenced for a gun possession crime after playing in the CPF so I’m not sure we can saddle up our moral high horse here.
He made a mistake. A pretty big mistake but hopefully he’s a better person after this.
Enough of tunnel gate. Sparty is at home watching bowl season on TV where they belong.
December 24th, 2022 at 8:55 PM ^
Beating someone about the head with a foreign object is not simply a "mistake."
December 24th, 2022 at 9:25 PM ^
This is liking comparing apples to fucking spaceships. One person was physically injured while another did a stupid thing by not waiting his paperwork to clear.
December 24th, 2022 at 10:04 PM ^
Yeah Crump did a really stupid thing, he was charged, plead guilty. Now all parties move on, right? What else do you want to happen?
December 24th, 2022 at 10:26 PM ^
You responded to a message that talked about other players. That message was not about Crump. Hope they learned from 4 game suspension.
December 25th, 2022 at 9:46 AM ^
Lengthy prison sentences. Enough to scare everyone else on that roster into behaving like human beings in the future. I have no confidence that anyone affiliated with that trash program has been sufficiently deterred.
December 25th, 2022 at 10:28 AM ^
Not sure the Green family is ready to move on without some type of settlement. Their attorney will certainly be looking to tap someone with deep pockets.
But to your point, I think everyone else is ready to move on.
Edit: With the understanding that the relationship has changed. When players / perhaps even coaches are intentionally attempting to injure or promote injury, that is criminal. I don't care if it is between the lines or not. In the same way you might have a friend or family member that has crossed boundaries of conduct or accepted norms, you treat that person differently going forward. You limit their access, supervise them like a hawk, put additional safeguards in place and be ready to intervene if they show signs of repeating their criminal behavior.
December 24th, 2022 at 10:49 PM ^
One was a malicious intent to harm another human being with a weapon, the other was a mistake with no actual victim. If you can't see the difference I don't know what to tell you.
December 24th, 2022 at 10:51 PM ^
You’re a fucking idiot.
December 25th, 2022 at 1:04 AM ^
This is a terrible take and you should feel ashamed for it.
December 25th, 2022 at 10:55 AM ^
A gun possession crime and participating in assault are not remotely similar crimes and I'm tired of people equating them
December 25th, 2022 at 9:18 PM ^
One guy bashes a face with a helmet. Another carries a registered pistol in his car with an expired CPL. One ofnthese crimes has a victim, the other is bad judgment that was clerical, and not part of another crime against a person. Please stop comparing these.
December 24th, 2022 at 11:55 PM ^
"I'm tired of msu always being the bad guy"
December 25th, 2022 at 9:37 AM ^
Easy way for that to happen, Tom. Stop being the bad guy.
December 24th, 2022 at 8:21 PM ^
Does this mean he will return to MSU in time for their bowl game?
December 25th, 2022 at 5:15 AM ^
Not being a Tik Tok user, it’s impossible to provide an experienced point of view. However, having read a fair amount about the platform, this representation seems quite appropriate.
December 24th, 2022 at 8:21 PM ^
Probably a silly question, but have ANY of the Moo U players expressed any remorse at all for their assault?
December 24th, 2022 at 8:40 PM ^
They`re probably saving that stuff for post-sentencing. There will be proper and adequate restitution and remorse. All of it genuine and not court ordered, to be sure.
Wait, what!!! Sorry, I must have been asleep just now. Only way I could have written that last paragraph.
December 24th, 2022 at 10:44 PM ^
"Nichols [Crump's Attorney] said Green was consulted regarding the plea agreement and that Crump wrote a letter of apology to Green as part of the agreement."
December 24th, 2022 at 10:55 PM ^
Ok good, was just going to post that link myself actually.
Im glad *someone* is showing contrition. it is fair to wonder how many people in their football program actually do feel an iota of remorse, given their track record, but this is a welcome and necessary first step, and hopefully this is a rock bottom reckoning for Crump to do better going forward.
December 25th, 2022 at 9:48 AM ^
That's not contrition and you know it. That non apology was a condition of him getting to plead down to a misdemeanor.
December 24th, 2022 at 8:24 PM ^
For those who have been hating, he says ‘Just stay tuned.’”
Hell of a statement from his attorney. How long until they have a collection going to build statues on campus?
December 24th, 2022 at 8:24 PM ^
Hopefully he gets put on a better path. Pay the price for stupidity and move on.
Dantonio and to a lesser degree Tucker are the individuals truly responsible for creating this insane "hate culture" and trash program that Sparty has become. We get it - you want UM to take you serious as a rival, but adult coaches and leaders of men putting kids in danger and aiming to hurt players is disgusting.
This is the culture Dantonio created and it's why 2 Tucker wins over UM got him a 10 year - $100mm guaranteed contract despite being a mediocre to bad coach over his entire career. It's also why Tucker looked like a sweaty, angry maniac throughout the game this year, knowing how much it means to Sparty - their Super Bowl
UM and OSU have the most intense of rivalries and there is absolutely no love lost between the two teams. There are often scuffles on the field and plenty of trash talking. That said, this actual rivalry, between two great, historic programs, never reaches the lows, pettiness, and violence of what Sparty tries to bring to the UM game.
December 24th, 2022 at 11:02 PM ^
The problem is everything so far indicates MSU has learned zero from this. The fact that Crump hasn't been outright dismissed from the team tells you everything you need to know along with the majority of the statements, etc made by MSU in general.
December 24th, 2022 at 8:32 PM ^
what happened with that lawyer that was going to come down hard on this??
December 24th, 2022 at 8:38 PM ^
"They are going to feel the full wrath of the law."
December 24th, 2022 at 8:49 PM ^
Why would he focus on the criminal side instead of getting ready for the civil? With general knowledge of what happens to msu criminals and MSU`S staff behavior obviously he saw the writing on the wall. Seeing some of the comments here would`t hurt, either.
