META: MGoBlog 3.1 Bug Sticky

Not sure how long it's been going on, but I noticed that my point total seems to be frozen.

UFRs remain near unreadable on mobile with either Chrome or Safari. Page crashes constantly  and can’t load video embeds. 

The topics on the board are all "stuck." It's not pushing the newest to the top.

Also, can we PLEASE get some kind of notification counter at the top when someone responds directly to your post?

For some reason my password never seems to save on your side. I'll change it, it gets accepted. I log out and log back in, and I get Unrecognized username or password. I've been having to use "reset password" just to be able to log into the site.

The bug where the sidebar goes underneath the main content after you comment is back.
I'm on the most updated version of Chrome.
No, I didn't take a screenshot, because it's acting the same way it has since this first occurred years ago.

And it just did it again when I posted this.

“Mobile app” is redirecting me to the App Store to download some betting app.  Like when the site loads and then the ad loads, I’m taken to the App Store. iOS

I’m having a hard time loading up the site (once I get it to load it’s fine) if I don’t entirely log out of the site and delete my browsing history. If I don’t, the site won’t load for me. This has happened on Safari and Chrome. Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide. 

I can not load mgoblog in chrome on my iphone 13.   It stopped working about a week ago.  It half (1/3) loads according to the loading bar and then freezes on a white screen.

Left a comment and the Diaries and Board columns came unstuck from the right side of the screen and moved to the bottom left.
So, the same issue that has been around since the big rebuild.

Can’t load the site on mobile browser at all. This has been going on for 2-3 weeks and now on the app this is what I’m seeing. Up and downvotes are huge, the drop down menu won’t work. It takes ages to load as well. It is sometimes 5 minutes before it will load past a completely white screen. 

New development on mobile (safari): Full page interstitial ads that you have to click out of just to access the board. 

I haven't been able to load Mgoblog on my iPad for the last 4-5 days.  Restarted it too, which I almost never do.  Somebody on this thread suggested to clear my cache, but I have no idea how to do that on an iPad.

Oddly, the site is running fine on my iPhone running the same version of iOS -- 16.6.1

About a year ago when we were having the same problems, mods recommended running the mgoblog app. That helped a little bit at the time. I searched for the app on the store and didn't see it and don't remember how I did it before.

Help? 

Games won counter is incorrect again (as of 10/26/2023 11:35am ET).   It is displaying 996 instead of 997.   I believe it was correctly displaying 997 a few days ago?

I think this is a known issue but I am still unable to find my posts in threads longer than 12 replies. Being a bit sarcastic here, but man this message board format is still rough. When I click my name and view activity or whatever 90% of the time when I click my comment, it just takes me to the first page of the thread that has 400 comments and it’s impossible to find. Maybe 1 out of 10 times clicking that takes me to my actual post where I can see replies. Am I doing something wrong? I make witty and important replies and I demand to see if anyone replies to me!!!!

Not complaining too much, seeing as the Signgate situation has led to an approximate 3000 pt increase for me in the past several weeks.

Ahoy! I can't upvote folks. 

On iPhone in Safari post-Drupal 10 update. The bar at the top (with the menu for clicking over to mgoboard, the search, and login) is not clickable except for the “mgoblog” logo. 

Using mobile site (Android Google Chrome), I can no longer use the drop down buttons (menu with site links and profile button for creating content) since the latest update.  Tried "desktop version" on same browser and no difference.

Update:  can still create content when navigating directly to the "add node" web address, but buttons still not working at top of site (also the search button).

Not sure if I'm creating a memory, but didn't the bar with "Home" "Football" "Basketball" used to follow you as you scrolled down the screen? Without that, you get stuck at the bottom without anything to click on to take you back to all of those links.

Basically, what I'm saying is that a "HOME" button (disguised behind the logo perhaps?) would make site navigation more seamless.

Since the recent (yesterday?) update, the menu or toolbar at the top (about, contact, mgoboard, etc) doesn't drop down to where you are in a topic.

That was pretty handy for navigation on the board -- easy to go back to the topic list -- and I hope it comes back.....

As far as I can tell, the only way to access diaries on mobile is to scroll to the bottom of a board post and click on them there. Is there a way to add diaries as a menu item so that they are easily accessible?

I can no longer post a saved picture in a comment.  I get an “about:blank” address with the new window.

Looks like the embed button is gone.  Maybe it's just me.

The RSS feed at mgoblog.com/fbfeed is invalid - the XML contains "&nbsp" which is not a valid/defined XML entity.

Hi. Got an error message earlier in the day that the site was down then a quick message about an internal database issue. Site is obviously back up but I now get an indication that my active threads page cannot be found. My posts are still there, problem seems to be localized to displaying the active threads page.

The new box for typing comments/post is very frustrating on mobile (Android phone, Google Chrome). Not sure if due to phone's autocorrect, but typing out words has the cursor jumping, words autofilling or repeating when simply typing one letter, and just general strange behavior.  Very irritating and was never like this before the April 10 update.  Took 5min to get this correctly typed when previously would take 30sec.

My ability to post dank memes using the "Insert images using Imce File Manager" feature is no bueno.
