Fran McCaffery got upended and had his knickers shaken for loose change last night. You'd be salty, too. He has a mug and complexion that the gods created to show anger; he's only fulfilling his cosmic destiny. 

Fran is realizing that even in a career year he's a second-tier B1G coach, and Garza realized if he can get a shot over Dickinson, he's not getting anything over NBA players. Rough day for both of them.

Great win and a class act by the Michigan Wolverines!

Fran flat refusing to do part of his job (telling reporters what happened in the game in his view) because he's sad is actually awesome. I love having this entitled asshole who refuses to give consideration to defense in the league.

The guy’s just pissed that it’s very clear he’s reached his ceiling, and like most years, his team falls apart down the stretch relative to expectations. His program has reached its ceiling. He has the best player to have ever come through his program, the guy is a senior, is probably going to win the Naismith, and it just didn’t matter last night. His best player got punked by a freshman. He ran into a team that is clearly better than his in every facet of the game, and there was just nothing he could do about it.

my favorite 'fran is a dickhead' moment from the night was him patting his kid on the forearm while the team doc checked him out on the court.  it had all the warmth and caring you'd expect to see from the guy.

izzo is the biggest turd in college basketball, but when he's in a good mood he can be about 0.0001% amusing.  AND, he's got banners and rings.  not so with fran.  he's just a dick without accomplishments.

Poor guy didn't have the refs on his side this time.

Added to his limited production Garza’s lack of sportsmanship is not what the pro scouts want to see when evaluating his character.

Anyways - we will get all the credit we deserve when we win again Indiana, Illinois, State, the B10 Tourney and The National Championship. Still a long road but this team has "it".

Wow, as someone who follows a professional team (unfortunately) coached by John Tortorella, I can say I've seen that presser 100 times before and it literally never gets *less* childish to see it each time.

I didn’t hear the answer on what Michigan did defensively, even though Fran said it had been asked and answered. 
 

a good coach would say they got outcoached. Izzo would complain about players not making plays that were there. I have no idea what his answer means, other than we got our asses kicked and I’m afraid to say it. 

I willing to grant him at least some leeway because of the two injured players, including his son. Still, neither injury was caused by a foul or dirty play, and it's his job to man up and be responsive in the post game presser.
