ESPN Brackets: Michigan AND OSU at #1s
#1s: Michigan, Gonzaga, Baylor, and Ohio State!
Go, Big Ten!

Nah fuck OSU
February 9th, 2021 at 3:48 PM ^
This is the only correct response. F'em!
February 9th, 2021 at 12:47 PM ^
Would you....

If I wasn't married and I could make a swift exit afterwards...yes.

One of those troubling existential questions of life...
February 9th, 2021 at 2:18 PM ^
A bitch that murdered her daughter? That would be a “no” for me.
February 9th, 2021 at 3:21 PM ^
I find her absolutely abhorrent and disgusting. The shirt she's wearing is the tiniest fraction of the equation.
February 9th, 2021 at 3:26 PM ^
Not to me. They're inseparable
February 9th, 2021 at 4:56 PM ^
Agreed, it like compounds on each other, sort of like infinity to the infinity power!
February 9th, 2021 at 4:14 PM ^
Between this and tunnelers comments I feel like I should know who this is
February 9th, 2021 at 4:38 PM ^
Casey Anthony
February 9th, 2021 at 4:48 PM ^
I remember someone put up a sign a few years back at a Michigan-OSU basketball game, want to say it was during the 2012-13 season, and it said the following:
Michigan has Kate Upton.
OSU has Casey Anthony.
You decide.
That was absolutely hilarious and has stuck with me ever since.
February 10th, 2021 at 9:26 AM ^
Both will shake the shit out of your manhood
February 9th, 2021 at 12:43 PM ^
Posts like this kill me. It's like Sparty or OSU winning a championship and saying..."I was rooting for the Big 10 YAY"!
I wasn't even buying the crap in the 70's...fuck'em.
February 9th, 2021 at 12:45 PM ^
....but, but....
February 9th, 2021 at 12:47 PM ^
It's just further tribalism we all cling to when push comes to shove. And boy to we stick to our tribes for better or more likely, for worse.
February 10th, 2021 at 8:39 AM ^
Since when are we in the same tribe as MSU or OSU? That’s like rooting for your spouse’s embittered ex.

I live in Knoxville and it drives me crazy how the pull that we are the SEC! crap. Every time Alabama wins, or Florida, or Georgia, or LSU it makes it that much harder to convince kids to come to UT. It in not in their best interest, but somehow they take pride in it.
I have never understood arguing for the conference. I get wanting the conference to be strong in basketball because it helps your seeding, but after that your rivals winning make it harder for you to either catch them or to stay ahead of them.
February 9th, 2021 at 1:49 PM ^
As someone who lived in the south for 20 years of my life, the SEC SEC stuff (in my opinion) is more about a regional South vs North thing than a love of conference. Which I understand. I roll my eyes a little but I get it.
The times that I’ve called out my SEC friends about it they admit it.
February 9th, 2021 at 3:29 PM ^
This post at least has the perspective to see how osu being viewed as a potential top seed at this time benefits Michigan.
It makes our resume that much more appealing. So sure, osu for #1 seed - in February!
February 9th, 2021 at 6:42 PM ^
I swear that when I took this position back in 2008 or 2009 when MSU was playing in the NCAAB Championship I was downvoted into oblivion.
“Nah man, it’s all good brah”
No, never.
after a decade of dong punches, I think most people now get it. F everyone - Michigan vs Everybody
February 9th, 2021 at 12:45 PM ^
I'd limit the comment to 'Go, Michigan'. Fuck ohio state and their cooler pooping fans.
February 9th, 2021 at 12:47 PM ^
Villanova and Illinois are both better than ohio state.
Prove me wrong.
February 9th, 2021 at 1:05 PM ^
Without much size, your squad has been on a roll lately. See y’all on the 21st
February 9th, 2021 at 2:19 PM ^
been saying for a while, 'beware the buckeyes'.
how you been, jon? not-so-new job still treating you right?
February 9th, 2021 at 3:03 PM ^
You got "scoreboard". I'll concede that much.
But here's a quote directly from the article you linked:
Illinois closed to 83-81 with 15.5 seconds left on a long 3-pointer by Miller.
On the Buckeyes' inbound pass, replays showed Washington clearly stepped out of bounds with the ball. But a foul was called on Trent Frazier and Washington sank both free throws to make it 85-81.
You might want to consider how fortunate your team really was in those final seconds.
They have a rematch on March 6. Should be verrrry interesting.
February 9th, 2021 at 1:13 PM ^
OSU 87 - Illinois 81
OSU #4 in the country Illinois #6
OSU 16-4, Illinois 13-5
OSU #7 RPI, Illinois #19
How am I doing?
February 9th, 2021 at 1:58 PM ^
OSU would have no answer for Cockburn (nor will they for Hunter or UM's overall length).
February 9th, 2021 at 2:45 PM ^
OSU already beat Cockburn and Illinois in Champaign.
February 9th, 2021 at 12:59 PM ^
My post wasn't clear. I intended 3 things:
1) Michigan on a #1 line. Yay!
2) osu on a #1 line. News.
3) Lots of Big Ten teams. Yay!
February 9th, 2021 at 1:05 PM ^
I think the reality of both Michigan and OSU is that both teams have overachieved this year based off preseason expectations. I think the difference is Michigan has a lot more playmakers and just a more well balanced team than OSU. I think this will be evident as the season plays out. There is no denying though that OSU is an extremely good team and has figured out whatever flaws they possess.
February 9th, 2021 at 1:13 PM ^
As the guys pointed out in the podcast, OSU's coach can coach but, fortunately for us, he can't recruit.
February 9th, 2021 at 3:37 PM ^
Dead on! And hopefully that trend continues because our coach is contagious for recruits. Go Blue!
February 9th, 2021 at 1:22 PM ^
I have to imagine that the B1G regular season champ should be a lock for a 1 seed.
February 9th, 2021 at 1:25 PM ^
I'd be perfectly fine if there was a second #16 win over #1 and that #1 team was osu. In fact it would almost make the last 20 years worth it. Almost.
February 9th, 2021 at 1:34 PM ^
Fuck Ohio state
February 9th, 2021 at 1:41 PM ^
i hope we hang 100 on them......
February 9th, 2021 at 1:57 PM ^
Is it the same Ohio State team that their "fans" didn't care to even talk about a month ago? I'm not sure there's a bigger bandwagon fan base in all of college sports.
I hope Michigan boat races them.
February 9th, 2021 at 2:14 PM ^
I predict Michigan will roll osu by 15+. They are limited in size and they struggle defensively. Osu will have 8 losses by selection Sunday, but will still be a 2/3 seed based on their number of quad 1 wins.
February 9th, 2021 at 7:18 PM ^
we need to get back out on the court. Pronto. . .
February 9th, 2021 at 2:49 PM ^
Fuck OSU and everything that they represent!!! (sports success at all costs; cheating as much as possible, and assigning scapegoats when you get caught; turning a blind eye to sexual assault and any crimes committed by their sports teams; academics being completely unimportant if you play for a revenue-generating sport, a mostly ignorant and rabid fanbase that has nothing else going for them; a campus located in one of the worst shithole cities in the contiguous 48, etc.).
February 9th, 2021 at 2:51 PM ^
Sorry, I know it's well known, but I did forget to mention the incredible opioid crisis in Columbus!
February 10th, 2021 at 7:46 AM ^
You can rabble all you want about your made up fantasies about the rampant cheating and far inferior academic requirements for OSU athletes (hint, they are the same as they are at Michigan). But making light of an opioid crisis that is plaguing not only Ohio, but the entire United States, is one of the most insensitive comments I've seen on here. One day it will affect someone you know, hopefully at that time you take a minute to step back and understand that just because you are an anonymous poster on the internet, it doesn't make you any less of a dick for making these types of comments.
February 9th, 2021 at 2:53 PM ^
That's certainly going way out on a limb - currently ranked teams #1 through #4.
February 9th, 2021 at 3:10 PM ^
This ain't the deep south. I take no joy or pride in seeing our rivals do well
February 9th, 2021 at 4:33 PM ^
I don't care if Ohio State makes the tournament and I really am not going to get excited about them having any more success in sports.
February 9th, 2021 at 4:46 PM ^
These #1 seed projection updates are always so stupid - they're always just the top 4 teams in the poll. Every week.
Ohio State is making me nervous though. They're playing above their talent level and I'm afraid that Michigan's layoff is going to make them rusty. I hope Michigan comes back strong and beats the ever living shit out of them and cruises to the title. GO BLUE!
February 9th, 2021 at 7:14 PM ^
Im hoping a great defense can stop OSaggyStateU BB
