They cant have a downfall without first reaching the heights and your joke franchise just wallows in mediocrity forever. Way to turn the highlight of the season, a big win over a rival, into this Cleveland.

But after reading your take it appears after Bosa sacked Mayfield at the end of the game he shoulda pulled off Baker's helmet and clocked him with it. Because Baker started it with the flag at the Shoe.

QB should not be trying to rip off the helmet of a d-lineman.  Rudolph was frustrated and instigated the situation.

Garrett lost his shit and will be villainized as “the worst guy ever”, but a lot happened on that play to lead up to his idiocy.

Outrage culture will paint Garrett as a lunAtic, but he’s just a dude that absolutely lost his cool at the wrong place and time.  Maybe he deserves to be suspended for the rest of the year; but people calling this assault, criminal, etc are absurd.

I doubt Rudolph will try ripping off a d-lineman’s helmet again

What Myles did was idiotic but Mason lost his cool too! It “wasn’t the worst thing ever” as I stated earlier, wasn’t even the worst thing I saw tonight. Burfict’s hit on AB a few years ago was much worse. I also saw Haynesworth stomp on a helmet-less players face with his cleats. Ppl often overreact in the moment with hot takes. This was a scrum that got out of hand. Criminal charges do not need to be filed and Garrett should play again after a few game suspension.

And a lot happened in this game that probabaly lead up to Rudolph's frustration, such as watching two receivers leave the game with concussions after helmet to helmet hits, and getting driven to the ground on a final, meaningless play after getting his own helmet to helmet hit earlier in the game.

Mason Rudolph should not have grabbed at Garrett's helmet and that is in no way an excuse to rip of a guys helmet and swing it at his head.

Closest thing to Malice at the Palace I've seen on a football field-- just waiting for the crowd to get involved and semi-surprised they didn't. Garrett is straight up Ron Artest in pads.

Browns were headhunting all night. Ju-Ju was knocked out with stereo-sound helmet-to-helmet shots from both sides. Dontae Johnson knocked out with textbook targeting that looked like it made his brain bleed out his earhole.

Just light the lake on fire (again) and dump this tire-fire of a franchise into it once and for all. Worst thing the NFL ever did was put a franchise back in that town.

There was nothing to call on the SS hit--three guys colliding, all with their heads up looking at the ball, Smith-Schuster's head bounced off one helmet and into the other. That's going to happen as long as there's football.

The Randall hit was a completely different kettle of fish. That was brutal and with intent.

And a right stomping of a helmetless player lying face down on the turf trying to protect his head with his hands; the state police had to come onto the field to try to restore order.

I don't know how South Carolina handled it but the Clemson players got one-game suspensions, served on a rotating basis in the next season's cupcake games.

I'd never listened to the live game broadcast before. "The police were nice--the way those kids was acting they should've sent dogs after 'em." Wow.

Yikes, you can't do that! This doesn't make Garrett a terrible person, but he needs to be done for the season. I understand what Pouncey was thinking, but he should miss some time too. What a mess.

Nuts is an understatement!  After reading James Patterson book about Aaron Hernandez, they were nearly as insane at FL.  Shows what a developer of character that Pope Urban really is.  Amazing how much stink St. Tebow was asked to cover up for that group in terms of public perception of that corrupt program.

The entire division is crazy. None of these teams like each other, and the number of 15-yard penalties in these games far exceeds the norm, or any other division's games.

I was horrified when I saw it.  For christ's sake he could have killed him.  He needs to be suspended for the rest of the year, minimum.  We won the damn game and still found a way to embarrass ourselves.

The weirdest part is it was so out of character for Garrett.

Having said that, fuck the Steelers.  They have played dirty on the field for decades and they get away with it because "the Steelers just play tough football."
