that’s is big for Michigan and all other top 25 teams
October 12th, 2019 at 3:51 PM ^
It’s not big for Michigan. Michigan is a fraud at 5-1 but they won’t be ranked much longer. PSU and ND will see to that

Absolutely clear and obvious troll, yet the dude still gets upvoted because people are stupid.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:22 PM ^
He's not wrong.
October 12th, 2019 at 5:39 PM ^
Perhaps, but that remains to be seen, IMO.
October 12th, 2019 at 5:13 PM ^
The 5-1 record is not a fraud, by any stretch. We won those 5 games despite our errors, and Wisky is in the hunt for a B1G championship and Playoffs.
The remaining schedule will define this team, not the first six, save the loss in Madison, possibly.

Sure I’m a troll and Harbaugh has been worth the money.
October 12th, 2019 at 8:07 PM ^
Are you upset with Dantonio not hiring a new offensive staff, Sparty?
October 12th, 2019 at 4:45 PM ^
This gives ohio state more of a guarentee to get to the playoffs. How is this huge for Michigan????
October 12th, 2019 at 3:50 PM ^
They'll drop from 3rd allllllll the way to 9th.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:58 PM ^
Better drop to at least 14. Home field against a 3-3 team? Comung.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:07 PM ^
Do you really think there are 13 teams better than UGA?
They played a totally shit game. Reminded me of UM-Iowa 2016, except UGA blew it at home, not in a hostile road night game.
That said, even OSU, Clemson, and BAMA have shit games against inferior competition once or twice a year.
South Carolina also has a shit ton of NFL talent on the defensive side of the ball...their offense just sucks...similar to us.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:50 PM ^
That’s two shitty games in a row for the Dawgs. I was hoping they could knock off Bama in the SEC championship but that appears unlikely based on recent play.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:21 PM ^
South Carolina will be ranked #5 tomorrow
SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC
October 12th, 2019 at 3:50 PM ^
It was 28-25 vs Illinois. Jesus
October 12th, 2019 at 3:58 PM ^
Good thing football games last 60 minutes.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:09 PM ^
Except for that one game in 2015.
October 13th, 2019 at 11:24 AM ^
And that one in 2001.
(Well, 60:01)
October 12th, 2019 at 6:01 PM ^
Bad thing Michigan needed 50 minutes to lockup this win against ILLINOIS.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:51 PM ^
This might be important if our team had any semblance of a chance to be in the playoffs.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:54 PM ^
They look awful, but if they can somehow beat Penn State, they'll be playing for a spot in Indy when they play Ohio State
October 12th, 2019 at 4:15 PM ^
They’ll get their asses run right out of their own stadium.
Harbaugh’s getting sent home with his tail tucked between his legs for the fifth year in a row, whether they’re playing for a spot in Indy or not.
October 12th, 2019 at 7:20 PM ^
If this offense keeps improving each week, and I believe that is possible, we could be in a very respectable place when we face the team down south. Some may argue with that, but the talent is there and the opposition is stiff.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:54 PM ^
Only reason this has any relevance is that itll keep two SEC teams out of the playoffs now. Itll be Bama, Ohio St, Clemson and Oklahoma.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:56 PM ^
I mean I had LSU as the #2 team in the SEC..
If LSU loses on the road to Bama in a close game and goes unbeaten they will have a case
October 12th, 2019 at 4:04 PM ^
They actually have a chance to beat bama, then it's a question of how far does bama drop.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:07 PM ^
All the way to #2.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:10 PM ^
Yep...LSU or UF can still get in with Bama if the respective games are close. And they should if that's how it plays out. LSU looks legit to me...UF offense looks suspect.
I'd rank it...
1a Bama
1b OSU
3 LSU
4 Clemson
5 Oklahoma
as of today.
October 12th, 2019 at 5:15 PM ^
I always enjoy games between Clemson and OSU.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:54 PM ^
College kickers suck.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:55 PM ^
Except for that Illinois kicker... he looked smooth.

October 12th, 2019 at 3:55 PM ^

October 12th, 2019 at 4:10 PM ^

October 12th, 2019 at 4:11 PM ^
Probably, but jfc man, it's a joke.
October 13th, 2019 at 7:59 PM ^
One game at a time and a incremental growth, there is a possibility that changes.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:55 PM ^
They pulled a Michigan. Way to blow your season.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:56 PM ^
At home to an unranked team, bet they could have used Justin Fields this year. Kirby ain’t so smart...
October 12th, 2019 at 4:01 PM ^
Fields is amazing because he plays in a great system. He was not the right fit for what UGA currently runs.
Fromm is better for the pro-style UGA runs.
Kirby missed his shot at the National Title with the two heartbreaking losses to Alabama.
Bama, OSU and Clemson have evolved and light up the scoreboard. Oklahoma is fun to wath too, but they don't recruit or coach defense like the other 3 programs.
Kirby will need to change his offense to compete. Fortunately for him, they have the bagmen to recruit and competence to complete the proper changes in coaching, unlike Michigan.
Brian said it best...we are always 5 years behind the evolution in college football. I doubt Kirby Smart lets that happen at UGA.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:15 PM ^
If Speight was 100% for his last two years at Michigan then Harbaugh has two wins over OSU. I don't blame the system. That would be working backwards from the results. I don't recall anyone predicting a loss to OSU last year based on the system. Many said OSU would win because they had more talent. All of this system talk seems to me to be triggered by some speed-in-space marketing program.
October 12th, 2019 at 5:08 PM ^
You're allowed to look back and understand things weren't as good as they seemed you know. We were able to run the ball on some good to mediocre teams, but when we played elite teams in ND, OSU, and Florida and tried the same thing we were eaten alive. Now it appears Harbaugh has hired two bad OCs in a row.
October 12th, 2019 at 5:24 PM ^
If wishes were fishes...
October 12th, 2019 at 7:38 PM ^
Does the "evolution in college football" you mention include the "bagmen" you mention? Michigan folks cannot brag about being"pristine" (which I doubt) and also bemoan that they can't keep up with the "bagman" teams.
October 12th, 2019 at 8:37 PM ^
he should of and could of re tooled to work around fields. Now we have to see him.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:58 PM ^
Oof. Sucks to be them.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:58 PM ^
Bet they wish they had Fields.....
