My core is strong. I thank pilates and yoga for that!
On a scale of 1 - 10, how would you rate your thighs?

You need it too, carrying around all that judgement will kill your back.
You're kind of a dumb ass. You should change your name.

fuck off
This is a great celebration.
That was the biggest 18th hole celebration at the Masters that I've seen in years.
He always did celebrate after finishing in the 18th hole of the day
I wasn't talking about his celebration, but then I suspect you knew that.
Tiger Woods was gangsta today.
Terrible human being. Wished he’d never win again. Oh, well. Pop culture will eat it up.
I’ll never understand how people are able to judge people they never met. Dude slept with a lot of women while married, he’s far from being a choir boy, but terrible human being seems a bit harsh.
We'll put some of the worst human beings on Earth in leadership positions on purpose but a guy playing golf keeps them up at night.
Interesting stretch there, Chalky. Your political views are warranted here. I choose to root for humans who deserve redemption. As a father and husband, I recognize my value to my family. I fully commit. A man who sleeps around isn’t committed as a father. I do judge that, now feel free to judge me.
No one will argue that cheating on your wife is a decent thing to do, but I think you underestimate the effect of being thrust into fame while relatively young and inevitably having opportunities with pretty much anyone you want.
Not condoning his behavior, but he was put into a position where a LOT of men would fail. I'm not going to judge too harshly.
Yea. There’s not people who’ve experienced the same reality and not chosen his behaviors. He really doesn’t care what any of us think, for or against. To defend, rationalize or be indifferent to the choices, not the golfer, speaks a little about people as individuals not fans.
So in your evaluation, who deserves redemption? Asking for a friend.
First off. That's not a nice thing to say about the Obama administration. Secondly, no one is losing sleep over this...except for Perkins waitresses tonight, amirite?!
I work for a multi billion dollar company that is supposed to be not for profit. Our CEO cheated on his wife with an employee's wife. He dumped his own wife to marry the other guy's wife. He is still in his job because he makes a lot of money for the company and himself. This is one of the worst humans on Earth and he was put in and kept in his position on purpose.
If you avoid sports heros for infidelities, I am afraid there are not many guys you will have left to root for.
Hi, Sandy. Now we’ve met. It’s okay on the internet though, right?
I
Lets not forget he drove his car into a disabled state, while he himself was essentially functionally disabled. Thank the good lord he didn't kill anyone. Perhaps he has changed. Infidelity hurts only your family....driving around fully and profoundly intoxicated has the potential to destroy many lives. He is a great golfer. And he is also not a good person. Simple as that.
Especially someone who hasn't walked a mile in his shoes. The guy was a kid when he was famous, freakin' 20 years plus old when he won the Masters then spent the next few years being a freakin' golf god; do you have any idea how many women threw themselves at him? This was before he got married; he was already addicted to sex when he married Elin and he couldn't stop.
As a guy, knowing how attracted I was to girls at that age, how difficult would it have been to not enjoy sexing girls at that time, being famous and rich and a stud golf god? I'm not judging...
Sure, but the amount of love he gets given his past is a little puzzling to me
Never been a fan of one of the most dominant athletes of your life time? Mmmk bro. I mean I suppose I could get it if you were to say his off course transgressions wrecked it for you but you said never.
I thought it was a great masters.
Before his off course transgressions he was still a dick. I don’t root for dicks. Same reason (besides obvious reasons) I don’t root for Izzo, Meyer or Dantoni.
You must not root for anyone in sports. You would have a hard time finding the one who isn't a dick.
A lot of people would claim that Jim Harbaugh is a dick, but he's conspicuously absent from your list.
So we should all just be fans because a person was dominant? That isn’t how many of choose our rooting interests.
Like others in this thread I’ve never been a fan either (for a lot of reasons). I’m not sure why you think that is either hard to believe or wrong.
My reaction? Holy. Shit.
In other news, ESPN has its programming set for the next 72 hours. They'll be able to raise their rates for advertising "The General" and "5-hour Energy," too.
It *is* a great story.
I met a guy who says his uncle founded 5 hour energy. He said his uncle gave him $700K cash to buy a house in Florida because interest rates were high.
The founder of 5 Hour Energy is from Farmington Hills I think. Pretty sure that’s where their corporate offices are.
The 5-hour energy founder, a billionaire Indian dude, lives around Ann Arbor. While he didn't go to Michigan, he purports to be a Michigan fan. FYI
Before I met his nephew at a soccer game in Saline, I had no idea 5 hr energy was a global company let alone based in Michigan.
He's been cold and calculating for much of his life ....... and because of such I've had a love-hate-love-hate-love-hate-love-hate-love relationship with him over the years.
But you could tell that was pure and authentic joy from him today.
Good for him, I'm happy for him.
I could not agree with you more on your last two points. Well said.
While you guys judge people based on how friendly they come off during awkward/forced interviews I’ll root for excellence. I feel fortunate to have watched his run of complete dominance, who knows if that’ll ever happen again. super happy for him today
Growing up I was a big golfer and Tiger was one of my idols. Then the personal stuff happened, other stories about the type of person he actually was, and the alleged steroid link, and I haven't really cheered for him since. Wasn't sure I was going to root for him today but regardless of how much of the adversity was created by himself, this was pretty damn cool to watch. The pure joy he showed in the celebration and hugging his kids, etc was goosebump inducing stuff. 4 back surgeries in 5-6 years, definitely one of the best comeback stories we have seen in sports. Hopefully the stories of his experiences changing him for the better personally to some degree are true as well.
Don’t watch golf much or care for it all that much, but was definitely cool to see Tiger climb all the way back from the depths and win again.
I’m sure he’s not the greatest human being, but still, cool to watch.
Clean living and hard work pays off!
Not really - PEDS FTW
He was dialed in today. Certainly one of the more interesting story arcs for an athlete. He went from loved to hated to completely off the radar and back to being loved again.
Similar to Kobe Bryant.
Except Tiger's proclivities were consensual.
Just amazed how Tiger can make me interested in golf. Don't know what it is, but seeing him in that red shirt and winning is thrilling to watch.
Not giving him credit for putting out a fire HE started. How about his redemption is that he is a better PERSON that doesn’t treat others like shit?
Allegedly the people close to him say he has changed alot since then, hopefully that is true. But from a pure athletic standpoint you do have to give the man some credit for winning another major again after not even being sure he could play again after 4 back surgeries.
Like him, hate him, whatever your deal is but damn, nice 11 year comeback to win the greatest golf tournament.
good for him. He seems a lot slimmer/leaner these days.
OT, AND he wears red and black.
