*teleporter
Once these players use the teleporters how do their future teams know they reassemble 100% with all those elite skills intact?
January 11th, 2019 at 11:58 AM ^
I don't know, man. Molecular transport was a cool add to Star Trek, but the thought of standing on a pad, being deconstructed then reconstructed potentially thousands of miles away seconds later is utterly terrifying somehow.
January 11th, 2019 at 12:00 PM ^
Dr. McCoy I presume?
January 11th, 2019 at 12:06 PM ^
Same in the 40k universe only worse things can happen in transit.

"The Fly"
January 11th, 2019 at 1:51 PM ^
The Fly...remember The Fly...
January 11th, 2019 at 1:53 PM ^
Especially if you're a tribble. Then you show up on a Klingon ship. And you hate Klingons. Suddenly your happy life on the Enterprise is a miserable life. Damn transporter.
January 11th, 2019 at 1:58 PM ^
Those random neutrinos can really mess you up.

Mike Tevee, cautionary tale.

People probably said something similar about the elevator and airplane. It will be fine. Trust the science...
January 11th, 2019 at 11:27 AM ^
i hope he enjoyed his time on campus.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:49 AM ^
I am just amazed he stayed as long as he did.
January 11th, 2019 at 12:27 PM ^
Edit: nevermind. I don't know anything about anything
January 11th, 2019 at 11:28 AM ^
He would have to sit out a year this time, correct? He can't have too many years left. Maybe he is looking to find a FCS school to play a year. Hope he gets some snaps somewhere.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:29 AM ^
He should be a grad transfer, I believe.
January 11th, 2019 at 1:39 PM ^
He should be a PhD transfer by now the way these schools hand out degrees
January 11th, 2019 at 11:37 AM ^
You can do more than one grad transfer if you have enough eligibility. They're both treated the same way.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:44 AM ^
Thanks for clarifying. I was not aware you could do multiple grad transfers.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:30 AM ^
I still remember him being the first quarterback drafted in the 2014 Spring Game.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:32 AM ^
No, you don't.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:47 AM ^
Yes, he does. He just remembers incorrectly.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:54 AM ^
2015* my bad.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:30 AM ^
So the band is getting back together?
January 11th, 2019 at 11:33 AM ^
Seems like he should be 30 years old by now. So maybe BYU?
January 11th, 2019 at 11:41 AM ^
He's on that Hunter Renfrow eligibility plan.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:45 AM ^
He would be 21 or 22
January 11th, 2019 at 2:11 PM ^
Actually he could just play basketball at Purdue. He could try to play the Hummel position.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:34 AM ^
You are praying to the wrong football gods, my friend...
January 11th, 2019 at 11:38 AM ^
Hillsdale College loses their Harlan Hill (D2 Heisman Trophy) finalist QB; the Chargers could use another D1 transfer QB.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:38 AM ^
“Transfer Portal” has a very Twilight Zone sound to it. I hope it never malfunctions and accidentally sends some college kid into another dimension.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:42 AM ^
By "into another dimension" you mean Rutger, right?
January 11th, 2019 at 11:48 AM ^
Now you're thinking with portals.
January 11th, 2019 at 5:07 PM ^
You're travelling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead - your next stop, the "Twilight Mal-Zone".
January 11th, 2019 at 11:43 AM ^
I never really understood why he transferred to Miami in the first place, they had a pretty decent returning starting QB and it seemed like it would've been a pretty tough competition between the two. But now that guy just graduated and Malzone is transferring when he probably has the inside track of being starter? Really bizarre
January 11th, 2019 at 11:43 AM ^
Ah, NTM...
Based on how well I did with NTM girls in Chicago in the post-collegiate years, I really should have gone there.
I should be there biggest fan.
January 11th, 2019 at 1:14 PM ^
There's definitely something about those girls...I love 'em too!
January 11th, 2019 at 11:44 AM ^
Did we find out his real name is Alexathan?
January 11th, 2019 at 11:52 AM ^
So is he the one who was afraid to enter because of the Harbaugh backlash?
January 11th, 2019 at 11:54 AM ^
I believe he's leaving with the degree, you can't fault him for that. Good luck Alex
January 11th, 2019 at 11:54 AM ^
Lol dan enos to Miami as OC.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:57 AM ^
This guy might be an upgrade
January 11th, 2019 at 12:06 PM ^
What is the whole "portal" thing? I think I missed the joke.
January 11th, 2019 at 12:35 PM ^
The joke is that it's not a joke but what the NCAA calls it, the transfer portal. You submit your name to it and then schools see you on a list of those in the portal and they can contact you.
January 11th, 2019 at 12:29 PM ^
Funny thing is, when the portal was announced this summer, it was supposed to be for players, coaches and admin only. Not public. I think we all knew that wouldn't be the case.
I wonder how many UM players are "in the portal" that haven't been discovered yet.
January 11th, 2019 at 1:57 PM ^
I only see one since Aubrey Solomon... it's freshman DB Owen Goldsberry, which processed yesterday.
January 11th, 2019 at 12:30 PM ^
If he wants to play, I wonder where he goes. He didn't even get a sniff of a starting role at the FBS level. Seems like he might need to drop to DII to play
