I could have gone the rest of my life not reading this and been better off for it.

I think he fell for the snake oil his uncle or whoever was selling. Whatever the case is, all the best to him where ever he ends up at.

Or he fell for the snake oil that the Cole family was selling him and just recently came to his senses.

So basically, he's like "Jameis Winston is a once in a decade talent! Go FSU!", and not realizing he will never play with the kid? Don't get me wrong, FSU has a good OC and the offense is good as long as they don't have 4 freshman on the line, and I certainly don't blame any offensive skill positions at looking around as long as Borges is the OC, but Jameis Winston is a large caveat to what the offense can/will do.

or hes gets to potentially play in southern weather in front of southern women (possibly in his home state) and join a team of equally talented players - a team thats been humming for years on recruiting trail and now seeing fruits of labor with league titles, bsc games and a very stable and promising future program. oh and these other schools will probably have a more servicable OL than UM. despite all of UMs obvious attractions, especially for fans of program, have to admit other programs are currently more stable and probably more attractive to top kids with aspirations of winning titles and getting drafted. not saying UM will not get there, i hope they do, and it will be special for the players who lead their eventual return to national prominence, but FSU and these other programs are already "there"....can you really question any of these kids?

We can keep letting these debates go on, or you can take the million hints that everyone in the know has been throwing out there, nod, and just be unhappy about it.

At least 1, 2, 5 times a day, you just seem to find ways to post optimistic things, rather then revel and expand upon in the recent pessimism that has taken over most. I, for one, appreciate it.
FWIW, there is a difference between sharing negative news/views and rubbing it in. Obviously, I'm of the feeling that you have not walked that line well this last week. It's one thing (though not my favorite) if they are just posts in appropriate threads or front page stuff, but new threads all the time are a bit much. Things aren't good for Michigan right now, on a lot of fronts, I think we all get that. But let's not over board.

Sweet...
January 2nd, 2014 at 4:51 PM ^
This is obviously relevant, but man, do you ever post or say anything positive about Michigan? You've been a real Debbie Downer, at least lately.
January 2nd, 2014 at 4:55 PM ^
agreed, can you just maybe wait til end of the week and deliever everything all at once?

Michigan needs more Winningness and Coaching Goodness and Football Goodery. OP will be here to remind us how much everyone is failing until Michigan - and we fans - embrace that.

things will get better when Karan Higdon gets a UM offer.

Well, he had a sack earlier.

The DE that is going to Texas A&M looks dominant. He appears to be the better than Hand from what I have seen.
January 2nd, 2014 at 6:15 PM ^
But it's Myles Garrett. And yes, I do think he could very well be a better prospect than Hand. Garrett is a better athlete, although not as powerful at this stage.

Between this guy and massblue we seem to have a spartan fan and a huge debby downer.
January 2nd, 2014 at 7:49 PM ^
he was a walk-on at FSU from 08-10.
January 2nd, 2014 at 8:36 PM ^
Coincidence that his post is pro FSU?

WTF does this have to do with Michigan State?
January 2nd, 2014 at 7:25 PM ^
Thanks for the update. I think I'll hitch-hike to Colorado now to get something to ease my pain.
January 2nd, 2014 at 8:04 PM ^
Whatever. He won't make or break the class.

I assumed FSU was going to play a huge role with him before it was all said & done. It was too obvious.
Wish him the best, but on to the next one. We have a big time talent in our own state, who's playmaking ability (with the ball in his hands) is superior to Campbell's.

^ If we end up with that guy, it'll take the sting off considerably. Won't jump out the window and make Percy Harvin comparisons, but I don't think there has been nearly enough buzz on just how talented that kid is.

The link doesn't work. I'm assuming it points to Brian Cole, but it would be nice if we didn't have to click a link to find out whom you're referencing...
January 3rd, 2014 at 9:36 AM ^
It is. Thought it was obvious being that its only about 2 offensive skill position kids in the state from the '15 class who are considered high level talent (him & Weber).
Link does work, just remove the space in between "." & "com" if u wanna watch it (was flagging as spam when posted fully for whatever reason).

Well, you never know. Sometimes people on message boards get behind more under-the-radar prospects. For all I knew, you were beating the drum for Joshuwa Holloman, Ray Buford, Sam Beal, or Damon Terry.
