Have a pick at the top of the 5th round...
So if they don't take Denard now, they'll likely get another shot.
Lions
Would be interesting to see Denard in Honolulu Blue.
Please go Jesse Williams Lions...
I'd take Ryan Swope here...which is weird, another Swope/Denard battle.
Hell, take em both.
The Lions need a polished slot WR ala Welker and Swope does play on special teams.
Not sure if Denard is AS needed with Reggie Bush now on the roster. Nonetheless, he's explosive and I would seriously consider taking them both.
is getting to be as bad as their former obsession with WRs.
While I love that they are building up the d-line, they really need to address the secondary issues.
Signed Quin and re-signed Delmas. They have addressed their secondary issues.
Michigan's lowest start in the draft ever was 2009 when Terrance Taylor was picked at #136 overall.
Currently on 133 right now....
This feels like trolling. If Lewan had left (an RR guy), this wouldn't be the case.
Dark years and all, but UM's talent level is rebounding after more than just the RR years.
Thanks a lot to Lloyd as well. 2009 was pretty much all Lloyd's doing. Further confirms that idea that Lloyd left the cupboard bare and Richrod didn't do much to restock it
have pick 136 and Detroit has pick 137... Should be interesting for Denard.
Will Campbell could come off the board any time as well.
The Detroit Lions select South Carolina DE Devin Taylor with their fourth-round pick. #lionsdraft twitter.com/DetroitLionsNF…

Would be great if a team that is incorporating more spread concepts into the game takes Denard. A team like SF, SEA, NE, or PHI would be great places for him to be used creatively.
Sad. No Denard. Plus side: we pick again very soon.
I actually do not think we'll pass on Denard in the 5th.
On the other hand. that's not true. I sort of expect us to get a WR here, but someone who can play as a true WR opposite CJ.
...so I wouldn't be shocked if they did pass on him again.
Swope is also a very viable option.
Detroit on the board again soon, so the Swopes or Robinson combination is still in play (for those of you who are seeking slot-type WRs).
has pick 136 right before Detroit, so I'm kind of in fear as well.
Lions fans can only dream that Detroit would be as shitty as a team that just went 13-3.
Detroit really shouldve grabbed Jordan Poyer. good CB
I don't remember him in the bowl game, I feel like that's a bad thing. I assume he was up against Schofield all game.
Well I certainly remember his long arms batting down passes. He's a good player
Not to mention that Borges was rolling the pocket left and right all game
because Taylor was more productive than Clowney for most of that game.
This late we're getting into the project picks, wouldn't mind picking up Brandon Jenkins, Reid Fragel, Graham Pocic, or BWC. They've all shown great determination and athletecism.
JAGS!!! WOOT WOOT! HEADED HOME!
shit. and to the team I probably like the least! What a shitty team - worse than the Lions.
However, his family gets to keep him close, and that's good for him and them. Happy for the family, not for the Lions or Denard.
On the plus side, they'll probably be in LA in a year or two, so maybe it won't be the same crappy franchise he's playing for for most of his career.
They announced him as a RB...
Goes close to home:
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
As bad as J'ville has been perhaps he'll get a real chance to see what he can do.
Those Helmets
Looks like I'm a Jags fan now!
Screw the Lions. Jags all the way!
As a Jacksonville resident, I'm fine with Denard comin on down!!
Just drafted Ace Sanders...so maybe they WILL use him as a RB rather than a slot WR.
Denard goes home!!! Great Jacksonville pick. Now they can trade for Tebow and run the Wilcat every other drive.
Ughhhh Jacksonville. Glad his family can see him play, though, more easily. Congrats to Denard!
Said that they were going to draft Denard here in the 5th. They had a plan in place for him and everything.
So the Lions had #132 and #137 and allegedly wanted Denard. They didn't want him bad enough, which is fine with me.
