MBB 2nd Half Thread vs. Indiana
Alright, Shaky start but good play by our boys most of the way, we need to keep it going.
I figured I'd start another thread cause the other one was getting slow per usual.
Go Blue, let's put up another banner!
Well, Oladipo just won the B1G POY on that missed FT by Burke.
Gotta make free throws. Or layups. Had a great shot right there at the end.
don't let your emotions get the best of you, "fans." if you support this team, you won't show anger and shout "choke job," "this team sucks," etc. you'll support your team regardless. they played hard and unfortunately couldn't hit clutch free throws. there will still be a tomorrow, don't kill yourselves or say anything you'll regret later on when michigan is plunging deep into the tournament. will you be the\at "fan" that hates the team now, but when michigan is in the final 4, suddenly shows undying support again?
Choke job.
No, this team doesn't suck. They wouldn't be in the top ten if they did. But they've got some key problems that they are going to need to overcome if they expect to win the Big Ten tournament and go deep into the NCAAs. It's not wrong to point that out.
hats off to Indiana but we gave that one away
They can thank the refs and our inability to make free throws in the clutch.
with a kitten right now.
disapointing end to the regular season. gotta make the free throws
disapointing end to the regular season. gotta make the free throws
I'm sick to my stomach...and possibly having a brain anerusym..and I'm alone and no one will know for hours, OMG this is a terrible feeling.
Honestly, and I can't believe I'm this lucid right now, that was a helluva game and ours for the taking. We should have won that game, straight up, but sometimes free throws and free-be's come between "should have" and reality. Oh well. Take the 5-seed and run wild boys.
Michigan has a 15 point lead with under 10 minutes to play at Penn State, loses
Michigan has a 10 point lead with 4 minutes left against MSU, takes an incredible effort by Burke to win by 1
Michigan has a 3 point lead with 3 seconds left against Wisconsin, loses
Michigan has a 5 point lead with under a minute left against Indiana, loses
Interesting perspective. ffffFFFFUUUUUUUUU
with a guy on the line?

Some great writing coming. RT @DanWetzel: Tom Crean got into it twice postgame with a Michigan assistant. Wild scene here in Ann Arbor.
KENPOM WAS WRONG HE SAID IT WOULD BE 73-71 INDIANA
We KenPom covered
Why is it that other teams never seem to have a problem sinking free throws at the end of games, and we can't seem to hit one to save our lives? This team needs to consult a goddman sports psychologist.
Burke especially! He 'posed to be POY, and he can't deliver in the big spots. That missed front-end must make him something like 6-7 in the last minute, between this Sunday and last Sunday!
Oh.
probably a 3 seed in the NCAA tournament. Thes seoncd round is where I see them struggling. The pressure of getting to the Sweet 16 will be just like today. Plus they won't be at home so Robinson will most-likely struggle down the stretch as he has shown a propensity to disappear on the road.
Who cares. This team can't finish and will lose to Penn State on Thursday. They're done.
They're "done" because they lost by 1 point to the #2 team in the country? Whatever. Overreact much?
Go away
Interior defense wass responsible for this loss and Michigan made absolutely no adjustments. Need faster weak side help or play a litle zone. They have had sucess with the 1-3-1. Just awful. They just sat and watched Zeller.
The team misses 3 free-throws. All by guys who are decent free-throw shooters. I'm SURE Belein coaches that.
This is the kind of loss that makes one want to have a drink, or 70, even though I have to be at work at 8am...
