That was posted in the kitchen, it's referring to where they wash their fruits and veggies for the salad bar. Duh.
August 15th, 2012 at 9:45 AM ^
When the sink is out of order, they post a sign that says "please use toilet."
August 15th, 2012 at 9:47 AM ^
Looks like someone was innovative and just used the sign.
August 15th, 2012 at 9:53 AM ^
Farmers will shit in just about anything, so this is really just preparing them for their future life.
August 15th, 2012 at 10:56 AM ^
I like to eat so I refrain from insulting farmers. You sir must be on a lifetime fast or enjoy eating shit.
August 15th, 2012 at 12:15 PM ^
You don't know what constitutes "organic" farming and the types of fertilizer used.
August 15th, 2012 at 12:39 PM ^
I know what organic farming is. Do you? I don't recall my Dad or Grandfather every squatting in a field to personnaly fertilize there crops.
August 15th, 2012 at 1:07 PM ^
While I never took a squat in a field myself, I sure remember driving the manure spreader pretty frequently, loaded up with composted "fertilizer".
August 15th, 2012 at 1:33 PM ^
Wow dude, take it personally why don't you. Jesus fucking christ. The internet - where someone is always offended.

Chive On.
August 15th, 2012 at 10:00 AM ^
Did they also misspell "visit"? Wonderful...
August 15th, 2012 at 10:11 AM ^
Those poor bastards can't get a break.
Disclaimer: Yes, I'm aware of the current streak. Just take it at face value fergodsakes.
August 15th, 2012 at 10:16 AM ^
Unfortunately they didn't use the real Sparty "S" when making this
August 15th, 2012 at 10:35 AM ^
This might be a fake. I can't imagine that they would use different "s" figures for different departments.
August 15th, 2012 at 12:22 PM ^
MSU doesn't use the "S" at all anymore. It's the Spartan Head only. also, "visit" is spelled wrong. Also, it's pretty obvious that this isn't real. Still funny though.
August 15th, 2012 at 3:38 PM ^
Is this the S that they "don't use at all anymore?"
August 15th, 2012 at 10:33 AM ^
Haha. That's right up there with (note the address)...
August 15th, 2012 at 10:35 AM ^
In complete fairness, I'm not sure what my math abilities would be at 11 PM on New Year's Day either.
August 15th, 2012 at 10:40 AM ^
But important none the less, keep an eye on reciepts that have the percentages printed on the bottom. Enterprising (read: criminal) servers have been known to edit the programs to their advantage.
Seriously, I would have somebody's job over that.
August 15th, 2012 at 12:07 PM ^
We don't know what's on the top of the check. If there were free appetizers or a free entree as part of a promotion, the tip would have been calculated before the discount.
If so, the person who wrote "LOL" is not only worthy of laughter, but also of contempt for being too cheap to tip the staff for all of their work.
August 15th, 2012 at 12:22 PM ^
At 20% according to the tip calculation, the bill would be around $63.50. Considering the listed cost was 46.29, that's a huge mark-up. I have to believe that even an enterprising server wouldn't be that brazen; even people with basic math skills will know that $12 on a $46 bill is more than 20% just by eyeballing it. It could very well be an issue with the program used to generate the bills or, perhaps, some screwy entering of the order that led to some costs being added needlessly.
But yeah, pretty dumb.
August 15th, 2012 at 12:46 PM ^
August 15th, 2012 at 1:30 PM ^
I usually do the post-tax tip because the tax is rarely that much extra (20% on $2 is $.40), but I tend to over-tip for some reason (I almost never go below 20%, and usually 25% if the bill isn't ginormous).
August 15th, 2012 at 12:59 PM ^
If it's real, I think someone's just counting on people not thinking about it much and just writing down the number next to 20% and being done with it
August 15th, 2012 at 1:25 PM ^
Anyone who can't compute 20% on their own deserves it. My lord, just take 10% of the total bill and double it. $46.00? That's $4.60 plus $4.60.
I refuse to believe it's difficult for most of the population to do this. 15%? OK, pull out the calculator if you must.
August 15th, 2012 at 1:38 PM ^
I'm sure that's the play, but it just seems silly given how easy it is. As noted below, move the decimal place over by 1 and then multiple by 2. If you can't do that, then honestly I'm surprised you have enough money to eat out.
(and yes, I'm being a little facetious here. Still...come on!).
August 15th, 2012 at 10:33 AM ^
that MSU has a player on their baseball team named Trey Poop. I bet he had a hand in this...
August 15th, 2012 at 10:40 AM ^
It's Trey Popp. I nearly shit my pants in excitement to see this kids' profile and screengrab it for the board. You, sir, got my hopes up. Only for them to crash to the floor.
Le sigh.
August 15th, 2012 at 10:42 AM ^
I saw what I wanted to see.
August 15th, 2012 at 10:36 AM ^
Today I found out that the house my brother and I installed a water heater in last week belonged to none other than Eddie Brown. Yep, THAT Eddie Brown. This was not great news. Apologies to Desmond. That is all.
August 20th, 2012 at 5:34 PM ^
Try and trip you as you were bringing the water heater into the house?
August 15th, 2012 at 11:00 AM ^
I would be very interested in meeting the person who would go to the trouble of faxing a request for more information regarding a restroom being out of order...
August 15th, 2012 at 11:28 AM ^
That photo is priceless. Cant wait to see Michigan beat the shit out of sparty this year. Ive had enough of listening to those douchebags talk. They had their once-every-45-year win streak. It is time to put them in their place...whether that be a sink or a toilet, they have it coming.
August 15th, 2012 at 1:57 PM ^
would be great if someone could post these signs for msu game.
August 15th, 2012 at 11:56 AM ^
Who among us hasn't peed in a sink when opportunity came knocking?
August 15th, 2012 at 12:07 PM ^
And unfortunutely I was booted out both times from the bouncers as they happened to be walking in.
August 15th, 2012 at 12:45 PM ^
....fortunately for everyone else who had to use said restrooms.
August 15th, 2012 at 12:13 PM ^
For those who remember going to Wings games in the days before the JLA, that was a staple of the experience in attending a game at the Olympia.
August 15th, 2012 at 12:28 PM ^
That looks pretty bad, but my guess is that it is a sign for people working on the facility in question; probably to tell them that if they need water to not use the toilet but instead the sink. Yeah, it's a funny joke and all, but if certain mains are closed off for repair, you don't want to mess around with them by accidentally flushing or trying to fill a non-functioning unit.
That said,
August 15th, 2012 at 1:55 PM ^
routinely use toilet water rather instead of sink? probably even worse.
August 15th, 2012 at 12:39 PM ^
Probably the second best website in the world
August 15th, 2012 at 1:52 PM ^
you're kiddin' me right?
