FWIW, Corley is being recruited as a WR/DB. He's a damn good cornerback too.
|27 weeks 5 days ago||The committee uses where they||
The committee uses where they were ranked when they beat them. Which I felt was pretty stupid, but it does make sense. Teams get better and worse throughout the year. Say Michigan plays MSU one year in week 5 when injuries haven't hit yet, MSU is undefeated and a top 5-10 team and Michigan beats them. Then the next game MSU loses their starting QB for the rest of the year and doesn't win a game the rest of the year and falls out of the polls. A week 12 win by Iowa over MSU isn't as good as week 5 win when MSU was healthy.

Hill was at MSU this past Wednesday with Corley and a few other King players. Took in a football practice and the basketball game vs Louisville
|30 weeks 2 days ago||Um, that was before Will||
Um, that was before Will Grier's suspension. Florida has looked good in 1 game after Treon Harris took over at QB, and that was a 28-35 loss at LSU (Which included 2 scoring drives of less than 15 yards). Since then:
27-3 win vs Georgia (Incl. Defensive Touchdown)
9-7 win vs Vanderbilt
24-14 win @ South Carolina
20-14 win vs Florida Atlantic (incl. 2 yard TD drive)
2-27 Loss vs FSU
Dominating defense, but their offense has been garbage

Nebraska had a very mobile QB though. Armstrong scrambled alot which lead to 0 sacks from MSU's defense. Hackenberg, while a better arm-punter than Armstrong, won't be outrunning anyone.

Dantonio doesn't disclose injury information so the website would not reflect that. Almost everyone gets "hurt" throughout a season. It might have not been season ending, but it isn't hard to get a 6th year. It happens all the time.
|31 weeks 6 days ago||"although with how their||
"although with how their secondary has played this year that may not be a good thing"
Really? Returning everyone is not a good thing, even if they have not played well? It would be better if everyone who sucks graduated and was replaced by people who couldn't beat them for a starting job in the first place? I've seen this logic so many times and never understood it.
MSU's defense will be better next year. The D-Line will take a major step back, but the LBs and DBs should be improved with who they bring back. The return of Copeland, and hopefully a healthy Hicks, in the secondary will be huge. We've also had multiple true freshman start back there (Including both safeties in the MSU/Michigan game) and another at corner, who should get better.
The offense, however, has a chance of being 2012 (Maxwell) level. The QB battle will be huge (obviously), but unlike 2012 where it was Maxwell and a RS Freshman Cook, we'll have an actual competition between O'Connor and Terry.

I'd probably take Indiana +16.5 against MSU. MSU is 0-6 ATS as a favorite and Indiana poses a threat to a weak secondary. I like MSU to win but Indiana to cover.

This is no longer true. MSU/OSU in late November is an 8PM game.

Smoking weed in Oregon hasn't been more than a civil infraction since the 70s. Will be completely legal in July.
Should the NCAA suspend players for speeding tickets?

He will coach the LBs primarily, which he coached under Dantonio at OSU. He'll also help out with DL and ST.

Prices at MSU are similar. Student tickets for football/basketball have been ~$180 for years. Hockey is ~$80-100 with a bunch of freebies thrown in.
|1 year 38 weeks ago||I'm pretty sure we're sold||
I'm pretty sure we're sold out for the year besides those tickets alotted for single games. Nebraska returned ~1000 tickets and we've been struggling to sell those (about 700 left as of last night).
I have a feeling our student section will not be full tonight though. A mixture of the flu going around, the shitty weather tonight, and the Jewish/Muslim holidays forcing some students to go home have flooded the market with student tickets.
|1 year 47 weeks ago||Agree with everything, but I||
Agree with everything, but I think this years schedule is about easier than last years (excluding Oregon). We played @NEB, vs UM, and neutral field against OSU. This year we get all 3 at home, including 2 of them at night.
Also, if we make it to the B1GCG again we'll face an easier opponent than 2013 OSU (most likely).
|1 year 50 weeks ago||Just for reference, MSU will||
Just for reference, MSU will have 3-5 RBs on the roster in 2015, not including Scott/whoever else commits.
Graduating - Hill, Langford
SR - None
JR - Tompkins, Williams (Could get moved to LB/Safety)
SO - Holmes
RS Frosh - Owens (Could get moved to FB or DE), London.
That looks pretty thin to me, especially considering Tompkins has made little noise so far in his career, and Williams and Owens are very likely to get moved to defense. Although, players buried in the defensive depth chart get moved to offense and vice versa every year (Langford was a CB for 2 years).

Are you really comparing Burbridge and Evans' academic issues to what Campbell did? I've never seen someone go to jail for failing math class.
FWIW, a bunch of QBs have been on unofficial visits to EL lately. I don't see Campbell signing with MSU, thankfully.
