It may be a terrible idea, but if so it's for other reasons.

Alabama just played at LSU, at night.  People did not get hurt.

Most of the biggest rivalries in CFB get played at night.  And people live to tell about it.

We think we're so special, but we're just so insular.

The problem with OSU is it combines the southern passion for football with a northern hooligan mentality.  It is the only sporting venue where I genuinely felt I needed to needed to watch my back - closely.  Give those freaks a full day to get their drink on and yeah.... someone will get hurt.

when they practice well, our high ranked defense is beating the snot out of our low ranked offense, further traumatizing our QBs (think how Simian felt last Saturday night 4 days a week), demoralizing our receivers, and confounding our RBs? I mean since the defense was killing our offense - in Brady ' s mind they worked hard in practice. Meanwhile morale on the opposite side is exasperated. This is kind of how it looks in games. The O-line and in spurts the RBs seem to be the only ones with their heads on straight.

2006 game was at 3:30. I wouldn't mind playing them at 3:30 at the Big House next year.

I don't know why they would want to make this game a night game when Michigan sucks.

They can't get bonus points for beating us, though.  At least they shouldn't.  Even if you move the game to a night game, we are still GOD awful.  We are a team that has to battle for our lives and STILL look like a clown show against the very bottom teams of the conference.

So OSU beats the #88 team in the country in prime time.  Send them to the playoffs?  I don't think so.

to open a slot for them.  Their SOS is inferior to all but Baylor and a one-loss ACC Champion.  Style points wont do anything for OSU against the SEC, a one-loss TCU, or a one-loss PAC12 Champ.

The following all get in before a one-loss OSU:

• An SEC Champ from the West
    • Even a two-loss Champ
    • An SEC Champ from the East could cause chaos
• A one-loss PAC12 team
    • Oregon: Colo, @OregSt, Pac12 South Rep(ASU?)
    • ASU: @OregSt, WashSt, @Ariz, North Rep (ORE)
• A one-loss Big12 TCU
    • TCU: @Kansas, @Tex, IowaSt
    • Baylor: Not so sure about them
        • BU played tougher top-end games
        • OSU played tougher mid-to-low-end games
• Obviously, an undefeated FSU ACC Champ
     • FSU: @Miami, BC, Fla, CCG Duke/GT
        • A one-loss FSU? Hmmnn
            • Similar SOS
            • FSU Defending NC
    • OSU gets in before a one-loss Duke

Really? All but Baylor and one-loss ACC champion?

35. Ohio State
47. Florida State
49. Oregon
52. Arizona State
55. Michigan State
62. Mississippi State
65. Kansas State
95. Alabama

Throw in Nebraska and Minnesota. 2 toughest left on the schedule.
25. Nebraska
46. Minnesota

Jokes.

Also, let's face it, OSU playing for a playoff bid, they put this game at night, pull out some goofy black uniformz, Adidas decides to get cute and puts us in something goofy to help us play for Hoke's job...

I don't even want to contemplate how awful this will be all around.

Let's face it, you've put on some goofy looking shit for the last several Michigan games.  Why not go all the way?

Now that I've insulted you, let me get your opinion:

I would really like to see Michigan and Ohio State each wear their home blues and reds for The Game, the way they used to do it before black and white TV forced a change to home-team color and away-team white.  The colors would look great together and would be a genuine throwback in an era of fake throwbacks.

Lots of Michigan people would like to see this.  Have any OSU people ever brought this up?

I think it would look really good. In my personal opinion, when I think of The Game I think of Archie in white running on bright green Michigan turf with Michigan in their home blues. I think of that era. Not the black and white era. I also love OSU's white uniforms 100x more than their red ones (because they wear white socks and accessories with them instead of black) so I'm biased toward wearing white on the road. But I think your color v. color idea would look great, it works for USC/UCLA.

tl;dr

While I like color on color, I love OSU in white against Michigan's blue.
