Matt Miller Commits to Wisconsin
According to ESPN, Matt Miller, younger brother of current Wolverine Jack Miller, has committed to Wisconsin. He had interest from UM but never gained an offer. Best of luck to Matt except for when we play him.
Link ($) - behind paywall but they give his name and enough info in the snippet.
Not to stray away from the topic of this thread, but i just heard Drake Harris is anouncing his decison on the football field, wouldnt that most likely mean he is making a decison based on football. Connect the dots, but dont get your hopes too high. We shall know around 6:45.
Don't get your hopes up. I would love for Harris to end up in AA, but the tea leaves are none too good. He is most likely bound for East Lansing... may god have mercy on his soul!
Any idea what time he is announcing?
The answer to that question may be unknowable.
/Just kidding, he says it in the post you just replied to.
//Not sure if serious.
grass or turf? hmmmm
I thought I read it somewhere...but I can't seem to remember where.
As in Fielding ? If you want me to connect those dots, I will---he's coming to play Football at "the Hole that (Fielding) Yost dug, Crisler paid for, and Canham carpeted"
Good place for him to end up, wish him the best
Looks like a good player and had a decent offer sheet.
Its probable that none of the 2013 legacy players will receive offers. Last year at this time the board was talking about how we would be in good shape for all of them (Roh, Edwards, Miller). Funny the way recruiting works.
Well, best of luck to him at Wisconsin.
Good for him at least ending up at another B1G school. From the area so I'll be rooting for him.
Wanted this kid at MSU bad. Good luck to him!
Yeah, MSU seemed to be targeting Miller and was seemingly the favorite after he got the news from Ohio that he wasn't going to be getting an offer from them. Wisconsin jumped in late and must have impressed him as they got him after putting in much less effort that State.
Wisconsin's track record for developing OLinemen and sending them to the next level is pretty outstanding. Plus, Madison vs. East Lansing? No contest.
Yeah Wisconsin's track record for O-lineman is a hard recrutiing pitch to beat. I wonder if his brother being at UM turned him away from MSU at all?
Not gonna start a new thread - and not trying to hijack this one - but the Buckeyes just picked up a huge commitment today: the No. 1 recruit out of South Carolina, DE Michael Hill.

Literally, huge. 6'2", 315 lbs. Man, the future Michigan OL vs. OSU DL battles are going to be epic.
That's quite hefty for a DE.
He's a DT, not a DE
DT. That's just recruiting services lumping them together.
Agreed. It's gonna harken back to the days of Bo vs Woody. The game will be won and lost on the lines.
I really prefer when kids just release the news, instead of scheduling some event and doing the hat dance.
I'm just glad he didn't end up at Sparty or ohio. This is perfect for him and for Wisconsin. Just the type of guy they can develope into a great lineman. Hats off to him.
hope he does well there
Quote from him (given by his coach): "I really liked Miami, I really liked Michigan State... I just had a good feeling about Wisconsin"
Shows how their O-line dominance helps.
