the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection

No link. Nothing official but some hall-mates (trainers/managers) definitely thought it to be real. |
| 4 weeks 1 day ago | Earning Numbers |
On the topic of earning numbers, rumors were swirling months ago that DG switched from 7 (which he wore thought high school) to 12 so Shane wouldn't come right in and be entitled to "his number". |
| 4 weeks 1 day ago | Very misleading |
I listened to Drake on the Huge Show. Sounds like they gave him the same pitch as every WR. Showed a highlight of #1s then said "you could be next". Hoke would NEVER promise it to an incoming freshman |

Very minimal but I'm pretty sure the first pic shows our defensive line in a 4-3 OVER front not under. The shade is away from the tight end and the 3 tech is towards the tight end. |
| 5 weeks 3 days ago | Jack Miller |
I really am impressed with all of our players who always seem intelligent and great kids, however, based on this interview I was extremely impressed at how well spoken Jack is. Sounds like he understands exactly what needs to happen for the OL to succeed and speaking from experience, it's damn near impossible to not sound like an idiot with the camera in your face. |

Not to be a debby downer, but I honestly don't know how people can say we should be favored against High Point. Based on results alone, (not about development or how many recruiting classes or when they found out they were going to be D1) Michigan is severely over matched. High Point lost by 2 to Delaware and beat Towson. Unfortunately, we're in for another big loss. |

He obviously wouldn't run the option in the NFL. The military academies only run that system because they can't run power because there are no fat guys in the military. Troy Calhoun is extremely respected and was an assistant coach for the Denver Broncos from 2003-2005 and was the Offensive Coordinator for the Houston Texans in 2006. |

If Urban Meyer or Bo Pelini or Pat Fitzgerald left their schools, wouldn't that benefit Hoke? |
| 19 weeks 6 days ago | Small sample size, yes, but |
Small sample size, yes, but the story is far from written for Bellomy. By all accounts he was playing very well in practice (well enough that they felt ok with moving Devin to help the receivers group). I think throwing a freshman into the fire in a freezing road night game when we were losing with absolutely no run game to help him out is far from fair to be saying he's not capable. Obviously, we don't know yet but I can assure you he's not out of the mix to start over a freshman Morris (if Devin for some reason does not get the RS). |
| 23 weeks 6 days ago | Ohio did two weeks ago vs us |
Ohio did this year when they capped their 12-0 season. Very similar to our storming vs MSU though. Party atmosphere, 900th win, not necessarily because they/we were such a good team but we did vs a 6-6 team and Ohio did vs us two weeks ago. |
| 27 weeks 5 days ago | Your lack of football |
Your lack of football knowledge has you mistaken. Calling an Audible is changing the play. Montana, Brady, Manning, even Denard, Bellomy, and Gardner all do this. If they get to the line and see a blitz they will absolutely get into a better play. What Kurt Warner is talking about is changing the route after the ball is snapped. More flexible offenses have hot routes built in to replace where an announced or unannounced blitz came from. But because the WCO is more about combinations to isolate defensive players so that they are damned if they do damned if they don't, once the ball is snapped your locked into that route combo and pass pro. |
| 27 weeks 5 days ago | Magnus is correct. The |
Magnus is correct. The problem with the true west coast system, that we have seen a lot of this year with Michigan, is that each formation in the WCO (except for the Denardisms in our hybrid half spread O) has for the most part 2 receivers. We have been in loads of 21 and 12 personnel which features a low number of receivers who are often in combos with each other (ie. Smash, Knife, China, Rebel... etc). When one runningback or receiver has a specific route, it usually is one piece of a large puzzle to isolate a specific part of a zone defense, and for the most part you can not really change routes in a "smash" concept that is called specifically to isolate a cover 2 corner. |

Of course that is great. Even though we learned the hospital trip was precautionary its still very good to know that nothing serious happened to a good young man whos career did not even start yet.. however that was still a great play by Burzinsky have to be happy for a no offer walk on who worked hard enough to battle for a starting spot on a top 10 team |

| 1 year 1 week ago | Most of the ideas I read said |
Most of the ideas I read said a shot that missed the cage would NOT reset the shot clock. Only a shot on net that either hit the goalie or a post |
| 1 year 1 week ago | Currently, they have in place |
Currently, they have in place a stall rule where (at the refs discretion) if the offensive team isn't attempting to score (ie. passing it around for minutes at a time or running around with no attempt to take it to the net) they call a stall warning and the offensive team then has to keep the ball in the restraining box and if the ball leaves the box there is a change of possession. This rule also occurs in the final 2 minutes the winning team has to keep the ball in the box. I think an interesting idea is they keep this same idea but add a shot clock. They keep the game exactly as is, however when the ref deems a stall warning, they then add a 40 second shot clock before a change of possession. |
| 1 year 2 weeks ago | Then the 3-3-5 is a GREAT d |
Then the 3-3-5 is a GREAT d to run. If you have capable guys at the rush and drop end spots than you can do a lot of different stuff. Roll one up to show an over look, you can roll the backside guy to show an under look or you can bring both up and play a 5-2. All very effective ways to show a different front without changing one thing |
| 1 year 2 weeks ago | Played the 3-3-5 in high |
Played the 3-3-5 in high school as the drop end. Scariest part about the odd stack is the 1-high look. Make sure your best athlete is playing FS and can cover a lot of ground if your going against pass happy offenses. |
