OT-Best place in AA for sake bombs?
I'm not looking for just sake, i can go to godaiko and get good rolls and udon and have some sake, I'm looking for a place where I can put the little cup of sake on the chopsticks on top of the beer and yell "kanpai" and slam my fist on the table to make it drop in without getting dirty looks. does anybody know of anyplace where that is acceptable in AA? I really wish there was a Kona Grill here. Thanks.

I was just at Champion house last week, so it is open....Had a blast

Man, you know they use the nastiest warmed-over sake for that, right? Might I interest you, instead, in some Irish Car Bombs at Conner's instead?
Having said that, I second the Champion House nomination. FWIW, they were tolerant of that behavior, which looking back is pretty obnoxious, ten years back, when I used to go there.

I second Champion House. If you ask real nicely, they might even put any leftover sake bombs into a to go cup for you if you so desire, as long as the manager isn't in.

CHAMPION HOUSE all the way!! Damn, this brings back some great memories, we used to start our fridays off at CH w/sake bombs. Total tomfoolery!

The short-lived Sake Bombs Depot. Anyone remember this gem?

Of course, how could I forget somewhere that never carded...? (looking back probably their downfall in the end). Had to go to blue front after that which was slightly more risky.

I used to buy at blue front with a photoshopped paper temporary license and a student id.

For mentioning good ol' Blue Front...

Long live Primo!

Oh man...Sake Bomb Depot, a hell of a place and 1 of the 2 places in A2 that got me through high school. The other one being the Broadway Party store. All you had to do was have a pulse and cash in hand and they wouldn't hesitate for a second to sell to you, even if you were a kid who could barely look over the counter.

How long can a liquor store survive if they don't card a single person ever?

Had the best deal ever...buy two kegs and get a free porn!

Yeah, I remember it, though I never went in there.

With all due respect, I didn't know you'd gotten surgery to have your balls removed.

Don't bother defending yourself against him. Anyone who thinks drinking in AA sucks has lost at life.

I second Tomukun. Great happy hour, half-off a sake bomb set. It's hardly ever crowded (not in a bad way) and they do have big TVs.
January 13th, 2012 at 8:39 PM ^
Sometimes it's hard to get a table Friday nights depending on what time you get there. It gets pretty crowded.

Champion house for sure! As long as you don't mind potentially sharing the restaurant with a bunch of drunk sorrority girls (didn't think you would)

If it still exists.
