I just showed you.
Somewhere Braxton Miller just felt a chill run down his spine.

WIth the praise Pipkins has been getting at the Army Bowl, I wonder what the odds are that he gets a 5th star. Rivals really favors the Army game and bases much of their final rankings on the game. If he dominates the camp and game, against that level of competition, it wouldn't be a stretch for him to jump from the 50's into the late 20's or low 30's and get a 5th star.
Also, Joe Bolden is going to get a massive ratings bump across the board, no? I would be surprised if he doesn't end up as a Rivals 100 guy.

He will be the same player at Michigan whether he is a 4* or 5* on Rivals.
January 4th, 2012 at 12:41 PM ^
Actually, basic psychology says otherwise.
January 4th, 2012 at 12:42 PM ^
That's true but it helps from a marketing perspective - other 4* & 5* kids will take note and it could have an impact.
It would be nice is all I'm saying.
January 4th, 2012 at 2:22 PM ^
Also, it makes our recruiting class look better.
January 4th, 2012 at 11:09 AM ^
"PeeWee" said there were too many reasons to get into, but that the biggest reason was the education. He also has strong feelings for Ohio; he's hungry.
Thanks for the link. I enjoyed listening to that interview.

Awesome!

Damn he is a Big Dude, 330lb! I know some of that looks like "bad weight" but i'm sure he will lose that quick in a college program

I think Brian has stated that (in his opinion) there is no such thing as "good weight" over 320. Pipkins just looks really broad to me and he says he has been working his shoulders quite a bit. He looks like he carries 330 lbs about as well as it is possible to carry 330 lbs.
January 4th, 2012 at 11:25 AM ^
Football. Keep that in mind.
January 4th, 2012 at 2:14 PM ^
Considering Brian's omniscience regarding things football, it's shocking to me that Dave Brandon did not hire him as our head football coach. More amazing, not even interviewed for recruiting coordinator. Seriously, did Brady ask Brian about Ondre's weight before we offered a schollie? This should be step one in any Michigan recruiting process.

He does look big, but it's nothing Wellman and a few days in the gym can't fix. But ya, he can't let himself go just to get bigger. Game shape is what it's all about.
January 4th, 2012 at 11:42 AM ^
This guy needs to start. Look at that body . He's bigger than Mike Martin. Our defense is going to be awesome in the very near future.
January 4th, 2012 at 12:26 PM ^
If you think our d line will be anything like it was this year you are high as balls.

January 4th, 2012 at 2:45 PM ^
He said in a few years, and I agree with him. Our d-line didn't exactly set the world on fire this year, so it's not a big stretch to say that the talent we have coming in with 4 years of Mattison will be outstanding. Love the guys that we're losing this year, but there's room for improvement.
January 4th, 2012 at 11:51 AM ^
He's going to look good on the interior of our D-Line.
I am a little disappointed that he wasted more than half of a perfectly good drumstick...
January 4th, 2012 at 12:17 PM ^
I agree, the best part of a drumstick is the cone with the chocolate at the end.
January 4th, 2012 at 12:02 PM ^
is it just me or does he look ready to play on our line right now? he is huge!!
January 4th, 2012 at 12:04 PM ^
I hope he doesn't gain too much weight. Think could be a problem if it's bad weight.
January 4th, 2012 at 12:06 PM ^
Mike Adams (current OSU tackle) went from #85 to #3 based just on his performance at the Army All-American Bowl.
January 4th, 2012 at 12:19 PM ^
that osu oline class from a few years back is the most over rated thing I've ever seen
January 4th, 2012 at 12:22 PM ^
I'm pretty sure those were the most stereotypical buckeye fans ever...
January 4th, 2012 at 12:38 PM ^
Tremendous beast mode manball..i smell Mattison is eyeing a 3-4 set with peewee at the nose eating up 3 blockers at a time. ngata stlye.
January 4th, 2012 at 12:38 PM ^
tremendous eating of that ice cream
January 4th, 2012 at 12:46 PM ^
I can't wait for Ondre to get on campus. Sounds like a great kid. I always love it when the future players feel the same way about Ohio as I do.
January 4th, 2012 at 12:52 PM ^
I'd love to see him playing at a smelt 320, destroying all offensive linemen who get in his way! Love that he hates Ohio...Grow Blue!
January 4th, 2012 at 1:09 PM ^
I think you mean "svelte".
January 4th, 2012 at 1:30 PM ^
320 pound smelt?! Holy shit.
January 4th, 2012 at 1:08 PM ^
I can't wait to see Pipkins and the rest of this class in a few years.
January 4th, 2012 at 1:20 PM ^
Got my sideline pass and can't wait for that game!
January 4th, 2012 at 1:47 PM ^
I guarantee you that Pipkins will play next year. The guys at 247sports reporting on the Army AA game said that he is stout. When they were asked if stout was a bad thing, they said that stout is a word that NFl scouts use to describe big NT. He already has an NFL ready body and is really quick off the ball considering his size.
January 4th, 2012 at 1:55 PM ^
It was weird when it all went down with Schutt and Danny O, but I'm really really glad the coaches kept their focus on landing PeeWee.
Sure, it would have been nice to get one of the other guys as well, but in my opinion if you're only going to get one, he's the one to get.
January 4th, 2012 at 2:10 PM ^
A beast, that man is.
January 4th, 2012 at 2:10 PM ^
Indeed. I'm not sure what magic Wellman will work, but he already fills that shirt out like someone who has been doing the work, and not on drumsticks.
January 4th, 2012 at 2:22 PM ^
When Pipkins becomes an All American I will be getting one of these...
January 4th, 2012 at 2:33 PM ^
I'll go further: I predict that Pipkins will be starting by the time the conference schedule starts. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him start against AF and UMass.
